Maple Street Biscuit Company - San Marco

My wife and stopped in here for a late lunch just before they closed. We've been here a few times in the past and this is the first time I've done a review here. We got the Farmer biscuit and shared it. Wow it was delicious and we were both so full afterwards. Love the flavor of the chicken that was fried just right then they added the apple butter and bacon and cheese and OH MY GOSH it's so good! The service is always friendly. We definitely recommend Maple Street Biscuit Company. Everything we've gotten so far has been spot on and hasn't disappointed.

Recommended for breakfast in Jax, one of the most popular spots. This is a nice neighborhood. Got the classic chix and waffles and lucky me they put the calories on the menu too so I know when to stop myself. Pick a celeb to interview when they call your name out. I don't know anyone so I said Trump. Free WiFi. Order at checkout and seat yourself.As for the food. Nice and perfectly crispy, and perfectly seasoned but not where all you taste is seasoning. Definitely among the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Waffles tasted good but are on the squishy side as you can see. If my taste buds aren't mistaken it tastes like they make them with bacon grease which is awesome.

Rarely go here for breakfast. They have a nice spot that easy to find. The food is great. The service was slow during our time there. Coffee was stale also.

I ate here with my husband, son, and mom while visiting from out of town. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We all thought our food was yummy. I had the hash bowl and loved it. The biscuits were surprisingly my least favorite part of the meal, but they were still good.

Went to Maple Street Biscuit company today for the first time in almost two years. I was so beyond excited to enjoy my favorite the "squaking goat". It's normally so delicious and I guess in two years it has changed. The chicken was shiny, rubbery and inedible. I normally never complain but I walked up and told the girl in the front and she was super apologetic and they made me another one. To my surprise the chicken was EXACTLY the same. I was so beyond grossed out and since it came out the same way I wasn't going to go ask for a third. I am beyond disappointed we spent over $36 dollars on this, my husband's breakfast plate and two drinks and I left hungry and feeling super grossed out.The one star is for the sweet girl at the counter who was friendly when I walked up the first time. Besides that it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I don't know if it was an off batch of chicken or what was going on but this was absolutely disgusting and not at all what I remember from a place we usually enjoyed.For your pricing your food shouldn't look or taste like this... hopefully you get it figured out before someone gets sick or you get more bad reviews.*if you look below you can see how I originally rated our experience, very disappointing it's changed so much*

We dined in on a Sunday morning and there was a considerable line but it moved quickly. We ordered a squalking goat, the seasonal sweet potato hash and chicken and waffles. There was some confusion with the names assigned to multiple customers meals being the same but staff corrected quickly. The food was hot and tasty. The sweet potato hash came out without the eggs but was delicious all the same.

The customer service was great, but the chicken and waffles is not LA style. Also, the fried chicken was extremely cold.

We have since moved out of Jax but Maple Street is a must every time we visit! The squawking goat is my absolute favorite and one of the original items on the menu. It's put together like a sandwich but make sure you grab a fork and knife so you can make the perfect bite every time. This time we were surprised to see mimosas and enjoyed them immensely!

Everything is always perfect. From the service to the food. I love you guys. And I just got an error message that I need 85 more characters, but... I really do love you guys.

I was never much of a biscuit person until I Maple Street. Since my introduction a few years ago, Maple Street is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Florida. My last visit, this was the first place I visited after leaving the airport. I usually opt for the Farmer as it's my go-to biscuit item and never disappoints however my last visit I opted to try the waffles and chicken which were fantastic. I am not a huge gravy person, but the sausage gravy is like no other, it is amazing! No matter what I've ever ordered, I enjoy everything. Customer service is always amazing and it's always tasty.
