Stopped in for bkfst this am. Husband orders extreme B&G and I order cowboy. They were out of steak so made it with chicken. The chicken cowboy was delicious. Husband disappointed in his - husband - patties thin. Virtually empty this Tuesday am. Order at counter. Question of the day for your order name.

Since new ownership I feel there was a shift, for the good and mostly bad. Menu has changed with many new items, which is cool to see. They offer more outside of just biscuits, showcasing hash bowls, sandwiches, and fancy lattes. However, since coming here after new ownership, every visit I encounter an issue and so do many other patrons. Uncleanliness, dirty utensils, people waiting to get missing parts of their order. Their most popular coffees (specifically the Maple roast) are barely full and room temperature. I ask if they can refill and refresh, doesn't get replenished till I'm already done eating. Biscuits sizes are smaller than they used to be, ok I get it times change but that sucks.Food is good and comes out hot so that's the more important part but I do miss the vibes of the old MSBC. But I do enjoy their hash bowl and it was very good with the goat cheese.

The Maple Street Biscuit Company is definitely a treat! The Sticky Maple lives up to its name with its delightful stickiness and delicious flavor. The fried green tomatoes had a nice tartness that added a great touch to the meal. I also loved the unique touch of asking for a favorite book or movie instead of a name for the order. It's a shame they don't have locations down south by me!

Wife and I dropped in for breakfast. I skipped on my normal go-to (Five and Dime) and had the Grit Bowl. Not a great call on my part. Egg was overcooked and the bacon was unusually chewy. I guess it was just an off day in the kitchen because they're normally on point. The most unsettling thing was just how dirty the restaurant was. The main dining area's floors were littered and sticky, counters and tables not kept wiped. The men's room was just terrible! Dirty, smelly...just awful and clearly neglected. So, food was ok, but they really need to stay on top of just basic cleanliness.

Hold up, let me wipe the drool off my face. This place is a must-try! The atmosphere is on point and the staff is super friendly. The menu had me like a kid in a candy store and the portion sizes? Enough to feed a small country lol. The biscuits? Flaky and buttery perfection. The sausage gravy? Legit so good I thought grandma was in the kitchen lol. And the chicken tenders? Don't even get me started, they were finger lickin' amazing! Definitely coming back for more .

I went for lunch and decided to try a new menu item. The tacos, the squawking goat and steak taco. I was missing an item for one taco, unfortunately the staff didn't quality check before bagging, so definitely double check before leaving. The staff was pleasant, I was greeted upon entry and it wasn't too busy so not a long wait either. This is definitely a go to spot so I will be back for more delicious eats! This location is in Murray Hill near the railway so parking is very hard due to other businesses but they do offer parking in the rear.

Reason for visiting: BrunchDay & Time: Saturday 11amParty of: 2Reservations: noOrder Type: dine in Waiter: order at the front when coming in and seat yourself Service: fresh and fast Ambiance: a little noisy but not loud Food Order:-Drink: berry fields -Entree: bluegrass grit bowl with side biscuit, the retro plate Extras: Portion Size: normal. Exactly what I would expect for a breakfast Conclusion:This place was just average. This would not be my first brunch option but it is a dependable option. Food has no wow factor. Very casual. When you walk in there is a menu and you order at the front. No table-side service. They ask you a question about yourself and that is the name of your order. This is a place that you go when you don't want to cook at home. Place is clean, staff is friendly.
