April 16, 2022. It's been two years since the Mand. Art Festival has been in operation and it was nice seeing all the creative, talented people! Sometimes in shows of this reputation you think everything is going to be outrageously expensive and it is not! Now there are some very fine art here but there is also some more practical craft stuff too! Under the trees on Mandarin Road a very nice way to spend Sat of Sun afternoon!

MAF is a great 2 day outdoor festival. It's a pleasant way to spend time with your family or friends. The parking can be a bit crazy but it's worth the extra mile. There is a bus that will pick you up at local spots and drop you off also. Check the website. They have food vendors/trucks and live music also. Its only a suggested $2 to walk thru.

This is an annual Art Festval located right off Mandarin Rd, it's a beautiful location!! Huge shady trees line the whole street and provide a really beautiful backdrop ( also needed shade too) Parking is horrible!! You have to just drive up and down the street (or try the side streets) looking for anywhere to park on this very narrow road. But once you find a spot and treck the 1/2 mile to the festival it's very pleasant inside! Oh and $2 "suggested" donation to enter ( men at front gate collecting money seemed mandatory) The art ranges from paintings to pottery to photography and everything in between...prices are more on the high end, this would be great to come to if you were looking for a unique one of a kind piece! They have a food court area that had a few trucks out, and there was plenty of space to get food and sit down in the shade and eat. They also have a bake sale where you can get all kinds of goodies! I would suggest checking it out!

This festival is hosted every year on Easter weekend. We always have fun when we come as a family. Entrance is a $1 donation per person and pets are not allowed. However, service animals are allowed in. They always have a bake sale and you are sure to find something you would like to buy. I wait every year to buy my local honey here. There is always tons of art to look at and buy including handmade products such as soaps, clothes and home decor items. There is always a vendor selling freshly made kettle corn and they always have some local food vendors selling food. It's worth checking out every year just because it's always different :-)
