A delightful spot for lunch! Our Red Hat chapter was in the downstairs Pub, in the Parlor Room (which is for overflow or small parties). We had one server but he was very attentive, so I don't think anyone missed anything. I couldn't get photos of the far part of the table but I got ones of the meals closer to me. The upstairs restaurant is upscale but we like a more relaxed atmosphere. Prices are moderate to high but the food is delicious. I had a burger, medium rare--perfectly cooked--with mushrooms, oysters, and an aioli spread, with a fruit cup for a side. It was delicious. Very friendly staff and nice views.

Sometimes this course is a 4 and sometimes it's a 2. I've experienced the course in both conditions and I can say that the greens are inconsistent as another reviewer mentioned. This does make it tough to score well but sometimes the deal is decent enough to "not be rushed" as it's normally not too crowded. The layout is not bad and there are a few elevations which make it interesting. The course used to have 27 holes but I started here golfing towards the end of that setup. I never saw the 3rd nine but they did make some final changes. I think the current 18 consists of 7 or 8 holes from one 9, a couple from the second 9, then one complete 9 of the original 27. Today the course was in really good shape compared to normal. While the greens had a good appearance overall, they unfortunately rolled slower than they looked. Herein lies the challenge - to hit it firm enough to get to the hole results in the diagnosed break not to happen.

I felt the need for a rewrite post-Covid on this course - it was so bad pre-covid it was off our group's radar, but is now firmly back in the rotation. Some background - my group tries to get out on different courses every Sunday before 9:00 - post Covid, this is getting to be almost impossible if you're not a member somewhere (I get on-line the Monday prior trying to find a tee time, with very few choices) has been VERY disappointed in the courses we were paying more $$$ for the past few months (S. Hampton, Hidden Hills and Cimmeronne) so, this weekend we thought "Let's try Magnolia Point - if it's going to be crappy conditions, let's at least save $20......"We were VERY pleasantly surprised!!!! Greens weren't perfect - but MUCH better than the places we have been playing lately, and cheaper! My buddy who played it for the 1st time described it perfectly - "tough but fair" - it's now firmly back in the rotation - and a great value for the price!

Not a good golf course. Seems like the club is nice but they're trying to have a golf course in Florida where half the holes aren't irrigated.

Pretty for our wedding venue. Nice garden outside of the clubhouse and then came indoors for the reception. Easy one stop shop. Did venue, reception, food, tables, chairs linens, plates and silverware and day of coordinator. Made it easier than booking from all different vendors. Food was really good the Chef was nice and so was his wife(: Deneen is on her game. She's a one man show and very busy but has her ducks in a row. We had a wreck on the bridge that made our guest an hour late but she handled it and everything still went very smoothly. The bride and groom rooms for us to get ready were so nice and the bar was perfect. Lots of good picture spots bc how lush it is!

Have played here periodically for the last 4 years or so. Overall it's one of my favorites in this area. Sure the greens are slow but you know that in the parking lot. Nice new carts this year! Elevation changes most NE Fla courses don't have. Decent prices and you can get deals on the usual websites. I will be back and I recommend the course for any but the real snootys out there. Can't comment on the bar/grill as have not used them but it looks to be good.

I would not go back. They book tee times too close to each other, so they wind up not being on time because the schedule is unrealistically tight, then everyone winds up playing on top of each other. Cigarette butts all over the course too.
