I've only been to this restaurant back when it was still Corner Bistro Wine Bar, and that was ok. According to Yelp archives, it was for Sunday Brunch. Now let's try this new concept here.We decided to sit at the bar and we were handed menus on IPads. Wow, this is different. We can't order on it but it was simply a digital menu. We ordered a few things. For drinks we got the Lula's Blue Pisco (Pisco, blue curacao, coconut cream, agave, like and coconut rum) and a Peruvian Prince (Peruvian Pisco, passionfruit liquor, peach Schnapps, lime, bitters). Both drinks were strong but the Blue Pisco was skrong. We both liked the taste. We later ordered a Mi Amor (7 misterios Mezcal, muddled watermelon, passionfruit, lime). Also strong and I'm not a watermelon person, but it was hard to not enjoy it. For apps, we got the Totstones Achorados (green plantains, mussels, tomatoes, onions, cilantro) and the Chicharron de Atun (seasoned bluefin tuna crackling, fresh housemade guac, fried jalapeno, cambray onion). The Chicharron surprised me as I didn't think the little fish rounds would be such a tasty snack. And the guac was really creamy, not salty. The tostones were impressive. My man said that normally they would be very dry but these weren't. The toppings on them, while not bringing a strong flavor, were cool and refreshing. For entrees, we got the Pulpo A La Parrilla (grilled octopus, fried potatoes, salad) and the Arroz Chaufa with Steak (white rice, eggs, chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, ginger, and sesame oil). The latter is a Peruvian version of Chinese fried rice. This was delicious! The flavors were much stronger and bolder and he could only eat half of it at this point. The rest was taken home and tasted just as good 2 days later. The octopus was great. I didn't think that I would also be getting part of the head with my meal but I was fine with that. I saw some people complain about their octopus being too chewy but I honestly will eat it anyway. I love it. The Peruvian corn that topped it was so sweet and delicious. The side of remoulade I used for everything on my plate as it was a great dipping sauce. We were too full to get dessert and threw in the napkins. The ladies waiting on all of us were so kind and took great care of us. This is definitely a place we will be returning to.

I sadly have to give this place a 3 star The vibes were cute, our server was nice, drinks were nice and strong but the food was just not hitting and I was most excited about the food.. We ordered the fried tuna bites with the guac for our app and it was honestly the best thing we had all night, our meals were blah my snapper was fried extremely hard and beat up (reference photos) the first time had to have them remake it, the second attempt came out looking better but was still overcooked, and the rice was under cooked but plantains were cool. My friend ordered the PESCADO A LO MACHO(not pictured) and it was very bland needed some seasoning.

Lula's Bistro is a new restaurant tucked away in peaceful Tapestry Park. This was the first restaurant that I have tried Peruvian food at and it was delicious. I had been craving ceviche and this hit the spot. The CEVICHE DE POTA which is a Squid ceviche mix with jumbo corn kernel, corn nut and sweet potato was my favorite out of the three in the trio. Loved the crunch from the corn nuts and the sauce was delicious.Had to try some lomo saltado so I had the taco and the meat was cooked perfectly. Loved that they put a few fries on it so you get a full taste of the entree version. My husband raved about the octopus dish saying I don't think I can find this anywhere else that is on this level. The Caipirinha - favorite- and Pisco Sour were tasty as were the toasty hot & fresh churros. Very nice restaurant. I would make sure I wasn't in a rush to eat here at least if it was busy because they do make everything fresh. Would make a very nice date spot and I also hope to catch some of their lunch specials.

We went to Lula's for Father's Day lunch. The place was busy but we were able to be seated within a few minutes without a reservation. The restaurant has shared parking within Tapestry park but the nearest lot was almost full that day.The restaurant had a vibe for casual eating and we appreciated the live violinist. The entrees took almost an hour to come out but I'm guessing it was secondary to the large crowd and the recent opening of the restaurant as staff would be new.We tried a non alcoholic strawberry watermelon drink. It reminded me of Kool Aid. My wife had the horchata and it was decent. The tuna appetizer was tasty. The Octupus dish was a bit rubbery and was taken back. The chicken dish was decent. The mixed seafood dish was tasty and the texture of the calamari was great.I would probably have to try it again after a few months to see the improvementsOur server was excellent and followed up on our orderThe

New Peruvian spot in Tapestry Park near III Forks and right diagonal to Indigo Blue Hotel. GPS will take you around the building and the signage is hard to see. Restaurant is spacious with booths, tables and bar seating. Ceviche was so refreshing. The chicken moist and the shrimp champignon was a nice flavorful surprise.

Best flavors I have encountered in a long time!! Papa A La Huancaina - amazing but, be careful has a kick! Inka ceviche with shrimp- I wish we had ordered 2 portions. Lomo Salteado - a little tough but the flavor made up for it. Definitely worth a try!

Just lovely!!! Peru is known for its cuisine - and this little gem is a foodie great find. The menu is authentic, and even includes upscale Mexican dishes. The food and drink presentation also made the food look as good as it tasted!Every dish we ate is worth coming back for.
