My son has only ever had dim sum as home so I decided to take him out for a treat. This small but cozy little restaurant in a moderately busy strip mall has often come across my radar. I always figure on 2 to 3 items ordered per person and today we settled on three. We started with the wonton soup with a huge crunchy wonton chips on the side, the spam rice cooked in the banana leaves, fried tofu, shrimp shumai, bbq bao bun, sesame balls and spring rolls. The staff is very helpful in going over the menu with you to help you make your choices and making sure you understand what you're ordering. And the service is quite fast and attentive making sure you have all that you need. The flavors for everything were so perfectly on point. Texturally my son was not a fan of the fried tofu, but that comes from mostly we don't do much fried food more so than the dish not being good. He can't wait to go back and try different things on our next visit.

I really enjoyed mostly everything we ordered. If you want fresh, made to order dim sum then this is the place for you. The Lucky Cat Buns were adorable and the taro filling tasted amazing. We loved it so much we ordered another to go. The green fried pork & chive dumplings and salt& pepper karage were one of my favorites too. My least favorite was the cheeseburger dumpling which tasted like a Hamburger helper. I wish they offered the chili oil that you see in most dim sum places but the condiments they had were good too. I mixed the soy sauce and Sriracha hot sauce together. Rock sugar would've also been nice but loved the fact that they offer loose leaf tea.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to warm up on a chilly night and try some creative dim sum, Lucky Cat Dim Sum should be on your list! This was our first visit, and I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. We started with the guava and cheese fried dumplings, which were sweet, rich, and almost too decadent to handle--but still delicious. Definitely a dessert item for me. The deep-fried pork dumplings were not my favorite; the sauce leaned a little too sweet for my taste, but if that's your taste, it's probably top tier. Next up, the chicken soup dumpling--absolutely perfect for the cold night. It was warm, comforting, just like chicken soup should be. The cheeseburger dumpling tasted like a juicy meatball with a surprise cheesy center, all wrapped up in a delicious dumpling. Easily my favorite bite of the night. We also had the chicken fried rice, which was solid and satisfying. It didn't steal the show, but sometimes you just need a reliable sidekick. To top it all off, we sipped on some lovely jasmine tea that was a much-needed warm welcome when we walked in.The restaurant itself is adorable--cozy, inviting, and filled with little details that make you want to stick around. But the real star was the staff. They were incredibly kind, patient, and super helpful with answering all of my newbie questionsIf you're into adventurous dumplings, warm hospitality, and a fun dining experience, Lucky Cat Dim Sum is a must-try. Just be ready to roll yourself out after one (or four) too many dumplings.

I recall going to this place for the first time in 2021. My first visit was awesome. The service here was very good that day. This place has so many food menu items to choose from. I decided to order the mildly spicy yellow curry with chicken and a side of steamed white rice. I love yellow curry. This particular yellow curry was very flavorful, and packed with veggies and healthy portion of chicken. It paired very well with the steamed white rice. My roommate decided to go with the chicken lo mein. That too was very good and flavorful. We both decided on the Thai Iced Tea to drink. That Thai Iced Tea was sweet, refreshing, and delicious. I love the ambiance within this restaurant, because it's cozy and welcoming as well. I haven't been here this year, but I'm planning to go soon.

Not my fav place as a pescatarian, but please note my meat eating friends liked Lucky Cat a lot. For me there wasnt a ton of pescatarian options, and most of what I chose was fried and/ or very greasy.

Lucky Cat Dim Sum is a delicious Friday night date spot!We tried several different dishes, and absolutely loved everything. My favorites were the chicken wings and the beef wontons with chili--both were incredible! The location is small but accommodating. Adjusting the lighting and music could enhance the atmosphere even more, but overall, it was a great experience. I can't wait to go back and try even more from their menu. Grab a Sapporo and some dim sum, and you're all set for a perfect evening!

Went here on Saturday evening since I am craving for a good Dimsum. We got here aroung 6:30pm and there was a wait outside, I was a little nervous since I was hungry but we did not wait for a long time (less than 15 minutes). we got inside got seated at the very back and they did an amazing job on decorating the restaurant, i love the dim sum containers on the wall, it's so cute!when you order, you order on the piece of paper, and check all the boxes of the food that you want to order. we ordered the shrimp fried rice, pineapple bun, shrimp siomai, original siomai, iced coffee, shrimp and spinach dumplings and everything was good! Service was a little slower but I will not take away a star from that because there was only 2 servers working and they did a phenomenal job handling the crowd. I will definitely be back here to try different food!

Loved the food and quick service. I also found my new favorite dish. The chili oil pork wotons were amazing and we ended up using the sauce on many of our other steamed dumplings. We also loved the cabbage and chicken pan fried dumplings- the flavor was perfection with notes of ginger and garlic. The fried shrimp balls were a tasty crispy treat. We also enjoyed the soup dumplings just wanted more broth but the flavor was great and very filling. And those pineapple buns were delicious with cream filling plus actual pineapple chunk which many other dim sum places don't offer. Excellent way to finish the meal.

Ordered fried rice and two dim sum items. Waited over 30 minutes for to go order. Two parties came after me for dine in and have already received their food. One party already ate and left. I'm so confused how fried rice would take so long. Asked the employee why it's taking so long and he said they had to make new rice because the rice was old. Both other parties ordered fried rice as well. Will not be coming back as they prioritize dine in.

So delicious, I think this is the best food I've had in Jacksonville. My friend and I got so much food and only paid about 40 dollars with drinks and dessert. Service was great and the environment is clean and the servers were attentive
