Losco Regional Park is a really nice park with a really nice walking path that goes around a lake. It also has a children's playground, a few soccer fields, a splash type water park, public restrooms, adequate parking and much more. I can't believe that this is my first time here as I am often in the area and seek out parks to walk and get some steps towards my minimum ten thousand steps a day minimum. But now that I have discovered Losco Regional Park, I will say that I will definitely return to this wonderful park. This park was also pretty popular on this particular Thursday morning. There were plenty of people enjoying the park. Losco Regional Park is truly a great park and I definitely recommend a visit here. I will also give Losco Regional Park an overall rating of five stars. Go check Losco Regional Park out for yourself.

When we first moved to Jacksonville, this is the park we have grown to love. Destiny church picnic was at the park today. Food trucks, bouncy houses, and much more. Even an ice cream truck was on site. A great way to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors. The tacos were decadent. Wifey had the lemon pepper wings. The piece of resistance was the Rosati ice and blue bunny chop galore ice cream sandwich. All and all the church picnic was a ball. Good fellowship and great food!

What a great park that's fairly close to me and didn't even realize it. They have about 3+ miles of nature trails nestled near the back of this park that's a really nice perk for me and the dog. Also, an amazingly large and unique playground area for families to take their children. Not to mention a few sports fields and various tables, lakes, and covered structures for any given activity you may want while being there. Really will come back again

Losco Regional Park is located on the southside of Jacksonville. This past weekend I had the opportunity to check it out for the first time. Some of my friends did a 5K in the park and then we met up at the pavilion for brunch. The pavilion had roughly six to eight picnic tables and offered shade from the Florida sun. As well as a grill. Not to mention the huge oak trees with Spanish moss all around which provided a lovely picturesque background (and shelter from the rain to get to our cars when we left LOL).They were restrooms nearby which I did not use as well as a pond. We were surrounded by a playground offering entertainment for the children such as swings, slides and climbing. The park offers a sidewalk path through the main portion of the park. There were also three hiking trails that go into the woods. We were there on a Sunday morning and the park was packed. And bonus, dogs are permitted!I look forward to coming back to this side of town for some run/walk exercise and next time I will bring my dog Simba.

This is one of our favorite parks. It seems to have something for every age. There is a large playground with some unique "things" to play and climb on. This is the type of playground where not only little kids get to play, but big kids, teens...and even adults like to have fun too. There is a covered picnic area, drinking fountains, benches, grills, restrooms and even a splash park (when in season). There is a large area with trees where the kids like to play tag, man hunt, etc. Often you can see ducks and/or geese at the pond as well. What we like the best is/are the short, but ample, hiking trail(s). It's a very peaceful place for a walk and the trails are well marked. There is more than enough parking too! (There is a very nice soccer field located at this park. I/we have never had a reason to use the field so I am unsure of how or who you contact to use it. But it's a pretty awesome field.)

Needs sidewalk repairs other than that it's a nice park to bring family to. Sometimes bathrooms are not clean.

This is a great park for walking with your stroller, as it loops around with an asphalt path around the perimeter of the park. There's a beautiful lake with ducks! No riff raft sketchy ppl like a lot of Jax parks. There is also a splash pad if you have older children, free to the public!

One of my favorite local park. It has just about everything... huge Soccer Fields, Hiking/Biking Trails, Pave Walkways, Playground and Splash Park for kids, Restrooms, Park Pavilion. Great scenery, nice and tranquil for a park. Losco Park has a 0.5 mile paved pathway that wraps around the park, as well as a 5K route option. It is great for walking, running or just strolling in particular, with your kids and pets. Get that camera ready too, great for picture taking. This park received a lot of upgrades as of lately. The playground equipment was upgraded. That slide, however... it goes fast and one of my concern with that is, the slide is metal (it gets hot in Florida, especially in the summer months). That would bid too well on a tushy of a youngin. A small Splash Park section was also installed. Great for young kids. And sadly, I do not see any more swings, which a favorite in the past. One of the soccer fields was also upgraded, as an artificial turf was installed. There are 3 other soccer fields (all grass) that can be used inside the park. On the side of the park, there is an entrance for a Hiking/Biking trail. For me, I find it perfect and more suitable for hikers because the trails and terrains themselves are all flat. There are a lot of Pine trees in the trails, so there lots of accumulation of pine needles, which makes for a slippery surface for mountain bikers, especially when making a fast turn. All in all, this park is always kept clean and well maintained. It is a spacious park, plenty of parking space

-Beautiful park with huge hanging trees! There are bike/ walking paths all around the park, when the weather cools down a lil it's a great place to go walk. -Pretty background to take prof pics by the trees too!-Big soccer fields with AstroTurf( I think) -Brand new BIG playground! It's probably suited more for big kids around 6-12? Will once again be perfect when it cool down a lil...that metal slide will scorch your butt mid day!! Lol! -Water play area! ( My Fav!!) Fountains spray water up and drip water down..for little and big kids so fun!! I would recommend having kids wear swim shoes cause it's pretty slippery!- Heard they are going to add a smaller playground for smaller kiddos hopefully coming soon!

As a soccer coach and parent, I've been going to Losco Park for the past 10 years. But I've never had the opportunity to stick around after a game and just enjoy the park.Losco is a Regional park is located in Mandarin - they have more amenities than most neighborhood parks here in Jax. The soccer fields are great. Two of them have artificial turf - I'm not a big fan, but they do allow for all-weather use. With the rains we get here in Jax, that's a good benefit. The fields are also lighted, so you can practice at night or have adult leagues. There are several large Picnic Pavilions that provide great shade from the summer heat. The tables are well spaced and the picnic area is usually very clean. What drew me to the park most recently was their 5k trails. There are three loops (red, white, and blue) that, when connected, form a perfectly shaded 5k running course through the woods. The trail does come close to Julington Creek - so expect to see bugs and other critters during the warmer times of the year. We also had some areas of roots to navigate - but that added a little interesting twist to the run (I actually twisted my ankle - but that was while doing a Yelp check-in & not paying attention to where I was walking - totally hilarious and totally my fault - many thanks to Bobby for not laughing too much!)
