I frequent this place regularly. And love the food and the service. However, I had most disappointing experience on Xmas eve. It was my daughter's birthday and she loves Latin food. We ordered delivery. DoorDash went to pick up the food and it was closed! The restaurant was closed at 530p but they were still taking online orders at 640p! Needless to say, we had to scramble, get whatever was available around 730p (which is hen we realized that the food wasn't coming) and it turned out to be a mess. I'm not sure most restaurants understand one very key element of their business: they're in business to not just make good food, and deliver it at the right time, but what they do is in support of one of peoples's most basic needs: food and nourishment. There is very little margin of error!

Excellent food and service. I just had the best pulled pork ever -- with black beans and rice. It's a small-ish place -- order at table of counter -- seems to depend on how their staffing is -- which is fine. The area is over-built and the traffic in the lot can be nutz but the great food (at a fair price) more than makes up for it.Recommended!

Stopped in for dinner and it was fantastic. I had the churrasco steak with sweet plantains and fried yuca. It was fantastic - great flavor and generous portion! We also had the salmon, it came with asparagus and 2 sides - we had black beans and plantains. Excellent flavor, cooked to perfection, and great portion. The shop is smaller but they make good use of their size, there's plenty of seating. You can order to go, too. We dined in and the service was great - very friendly staff and food served quickly. Definitely will be back, wish we bought some empanadas tooo

BROH!!! Folks, that was what my mind, my palate and my tummy were all telling me how delicious the food was. The food here at Los Andes is really good. Some of the best Peruvian/Argentinian dishes I've ever had. We went to eat here as a party of 6 and ordered the following. The portions were nice. It was definitely enough for us to do a community sampling of the dishes we all ordered. Taste Impressions. My high marks goes to...- Lechon Asado (5/5): Great taste all around.- Cuban Sandwich (5/5): One of the best Cuban Sandwiches I've had.- Lomo Saltado (5/5): This was my one of the dishes I was looking to order. It carried great flavor and portions. Will definitely get this one on next visit. The Chicken Tacos and the Milanesa Chicken was just okay. Los Andes is a small shop and probably sits around 30 people , the menu is self-explanatory but confusing. The prices are shown on their menu board. However, the regular handout menu does not show the price which leads to confusion. All in all, there are so many other items I want to try but did not get a chance. Will come back here again to try the others.

My big bro and I labored into Los Andes in dire need of a big meal as we were fresh out of the sauna post F45 class.Big bro was trying to sell me on the fried pork, but I couldn't imagine a better meal at this point in time than a half chicken with 2 sides, so I went with a half chicken and 2 sides. We ordered togo, but one of the employees saw us absolutely destroyed from our workout and brought us ice water while saying "You guys look like you need this." THAT'S WHITE GLOVE SERVICE!Upon my first bite of chicken, I felt like the undertaker coming out of his coffin. It brought me back to life, The Jesus to my Lazarus. A well seasoned chicken that isn't dry is truly an art.If I lived in Jax, I would be eating at Los Andes at least 3 times a week. It's fuel for the mind, body, and soul. Ig @jnov_Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Really was so thrilled to give the spot a try, I was in the neighborhood and ask one of my good friends to see if he wanted to try the restaurant with me. He reluctantly agreed, because he really wanted to go next-door to Sierra Grill. After much convincing that I think he might like to spot better, he reluctantly agreed. I'm sure it had to do with the fact that I agreed to buy him dinner.I've got to tell you the food was fabulous. I've got to tell you the service was fantastic I've got to tell you that parking was plentiful out front. And as I mentioned before, Sierra Grille next-door was very crowded. There were only a few people in Los Andes, but I can tell you those people were glad they came. But you wanna hear about the food: Ceviche - this was a really outstanding dish, and I've had it a couple of places in Jacksonville. It really was well done. Steak Bistec - another wonderful dish I had my friends tastebuds dancing.I pause for a moment, to tell you that, as soon as my friend had one bite of his food, he looked at me and said for introducing me to this restaurant I am going to buy you dinner. He also planned to come back the very next night , and I can tell you he is as picky as they come. (I've tried to get him to try Sushi, and he just thinks that's an awful idea.)Really worth a try, you really enjoy this restaurant .

This is a small and quaint restaurant that sells Andean food, so mostly Peruvian and Argentinian. I've been to the one off Atlantic, and the food quality is the same and just as good!I went here around noon on a Sunday and it doesn't seem to be too busy. There were at most 3 parties of people around (max when we went. At both of the locations it's a bit short on staff, but it is a small restaurant, so I don't fault anyone for that. Just sit down and they'll come.by with the menu even if it seems like you order at the counter. Both places I kept feeling like it's an order at the counter place, but yes, you can sit down.I ordered the lomo saltado and my friend order the lechon and a Cubano. EVERYTHING WAS SUPER GOOD. I'll say it's pricier than some places I've been to, but they give you more here and it's high quality. I had to pack a to go box since there was so much. To note when you order your sides if you get anything with the choice of 2 sides it's 3 of certain items such as the tostanos, plantains, or yucca fries. They're big, but the number is 3 so don't be too surprised.I also tried one of the sweet cookie sandwiches at the front, and it was absolutely delectable. It wasnt too sweet, but had all the flavors you could have ever wanted. It melted in your mouth. Got crumbly and powdery but worth it.As far as service goes, they were very attentive and the portions were very large.it does take longer than other places I've been to for food to come out, so I'd recommend possibly getting an appetizer as you wait. I like how when larger families came in they all helped move the tables to accommodate everyone. It seems they move the tables all the time and are flexible with the seating arrangements, so that even as a small place it's still able to accommodate large amounts of people. Overall a great experience. Clean, friendly, and delicious!

Excellent treat on a rainy day. The food hit the spot. The Picanha is delicious and tender. The salad and french fries on the side was a good portion. We also ordered whole chicken and 4 sides. Chicken was moist and tasty. Sides were all excellent. Customer service was superb. The place is small but very clean. Will definitely go back to this place.
