Loosey's

Was in GNV for the first time for Fest and Loosey's was on my list of must try places. Friends had gone there the night before I got into town so wasn't sure I was going to get here, but we needed a break between sets so sitting outside and ordering was super easy. Food came out very quick considering how many people were there and that they had a full line up of bands going inside. Food was also very very good. Burnt ends were perfectly cooked with a nice mix of flavors and the mac and cheese had a nice crunch on top while still being creamy. Would absolutely come back and would love to explore more of the excellent sounding menu.

This is a dive bar! Loud music, tatted staff, old wooden benches and tables, outside seating, and really good comfort food!!Men, women, Black and White sitting next to each other at the bar enjoying their fare!The band for tonight Hed (pe) is setting up for the party tonight!They came all the way from Cali!! Nice!!I got the Angus burger, as it is only $10 on Wednesday! Great service, and no-nonsense staff makes you feel comfy around people you just met!!Great selection of draft beers and staff that has been on for years!!Come on by....

Was a bit hungry and I was looking for Steak Bites. The Steak Frites was the closest I could come to it. A little too much gristle and not enough flavor. It was a pretty good size for $22. I ate a good portion of it. The sides were not best selections. The fries did taste a bit decent. My wife wasn't crazy with her Burger, as they undercooked it and she had to send it back. The service is a tad bit slow, looks like they can pick up the pace a little. Place is a pub, I can't say it's a bright lighted place. It could use a little more life. Would I come back? Maybe. I give it a 3.5

Loosey's is the perfect place to go for great bar food and vibes. The employees were all super nice and food/drinks came out quick. For drinks I tried the Florida Mule and some kind of mixed berry sour, and both drinks were great! We ordered their wings in hot buffalo and garlic parm, as well as their truffle fries. The wings were super juicy and perfectly crispy, and the sauce was just enough to coat each chicken but not be too overpowering. I wish the hot buffalo could've been spicier but that's also just my personal preference. Garlic parm fries were great and I loved how they used fresh garlic in their sauce. Fries were homemade and the truffle sauce was delicious.

Food & drinks here are honestly amazing! Great location & ambiance! I would rate this place a 5 stars if the service was better.

Very cool place. Went for lunch. Had the Kalbi burnt ends. I make burnt and have ordered my share of burnt ends from restaurants. If you never had burnt ends or love them, they are a MUST. They were fantastic. Burger was big, the beef was excellent. Fish & Chips were very good. The cod was flaky and crunchy. The Chic-fil-Loosey sandwich was very good. Big thick piece, very crunchy and juicy. The only thing that would've made the sandwich better would be a special Loosey sauce to put on it. We will definitely be back.

Driving through on our way to Clearwater so stopped for lunch on a pet friendly patio. It's a Monday afternoon, and I get that, but this place is so dead. Not just the restaurant but the whole downtown area. Food was good. Had an impossible burger, hot wings with fries and a piece of grilled chicken breast for my dog. The burger had all the regular fixins, wings were huge but we had to send them back to throw them back in the fryer. The skin was rubbery. Once redone, they were excellent. Fries were good. Not enough but you can never have enough fries.

From groups of people playing trivia to excellent food, to music I didn't like, to watching hockey on TV, Loosey's was perfect. First there was a line of people outside waiting to order and get seats for the upcoming trivia game. I waited, though I did not play.Inside was a bar that was quite full, loud and very busy. It is a bar.Finally ordered my dinner, it is expensive at Loosey's, be ready to pay.I had the 14 oz Prime Rib Steak. IT WAS PRIME. Best darn steak I have eaten in many years.The fries that came with it were crunchy and delicious.I also ordered a Loosey Salad. It to was great.The servers were all very good and made sure everything was just perfect.Was the food, service and atmosphere worth the $40 price tag for one person?ABSOLUTELY!!!!!I very highly recommend Loosey's.

I had a really good experience here on Friday. It's a dive bar but don't let that fool you the food compares made from scratch. I ordered the house made veggie burger and it was delicious. This was legit, made from real veggies, no like a Boca burger (which I do like too). The fries are also amazing, hand cut and fresh. I had a yummy watermelon sour beer to top it off. Very good quality food and great service!

What a great find! Such a good burger, delicious wings food drinks. A great place to hang out!
