Lonnie C Miller Park

We rented this park pavilion in June for our family reunion. This location was by far the worst park every. The pavilion was very dirty, mold on the roof, human waste around the grill area, grill was unusable and more. We paid a lot on the pavilion and insurance for a good pavilion but got a the WORST PAVILION. I emailed the park representatives and I didn't even get a response back. That shows me they don't even care to fix the problems. The whole thing need to be taking down. We was so upset but tried to make the best of it by covering up the mess and cleaning the floors. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's sad when you pay your money and get a bad experience but not even a apology for it was worse. Jacksonville Park and recreation should be ashamed of themselves.

Was here for a community service event with my employer and we helped to clean the park, and add some new things as well. My wife and I both worked to create a hopscotch course that came out looking great. It was a great time and the park seemed to be in pretty good shape even before we got there. If I was in the area I'd go back.
