Props to Locals for the major upgrades here. 8 TVs over the bar make this place unique here locally, add Buzztime trivia/poker and you've found a pretty good place to kill some time. Daily happy hour til 7 and all day Sunday. Limited bar menu but nobody is coming here for the food anyway. Now a word to newbies, this appears to be a sanctuary for the over 60's crowd, and sketchy doesn't even begin to describe some of these characters. The women all sound like Bobcat Goldthwaite, one was dragging an oxygen tank around behind. The men are loud and overly impressed with themselves and some are openly gender conflicted. So if you're here for a game or to play some trivia just mind your own business, keep facing straight ahead and don't make eye contact with or respond to anybody attempting to strike up a conversation and you'll be alright. The bartenders are all cool and service is good. Two pool tables and lots of games to occupy yourselves with while you're dodging the crazees.

New to the area & it's our 3rd time here. The latest we've come is 5-7pm during the week once & a Saturdayn a Sunday. Unsure of the true night crowd. During the day theres a good amount of folks - not dead but not full. Football game days it's a but fuller. They have the NFL Ticket so Jax fans gather. It's relatively quiet & chill place even at touchdowns. It's a clean, dim lit bar. No smoking - folks go outside & minimal bar bites. If u want to chill, play pool, throw darts or gather in small groups n drink cheap cold beer & here good music- This is Your Place. Locals check you out but not in an ugly way. Have self confidence n don't look to strangers to show you a good time.

Locals is a laid back bar with friendly locals. I think my previous experiences were not the norm. After visiting a few more times I felt like it was time to update the review. It's still smoking allowed inside so when it's busier it can get quiet stifling inside but on a slower visit it's not that bad. The drinks are cheap and made well. The staff and patrons are generally kind and inviting if not ridiculous and loud at times.

I have lived here for a long time, prior to it being locals. Before COVID it was too smoky for me. Since then, during COVID, the owner put a lot of money into the place and decided to keep it no smoking inside. Zero smoke smell and much cleaner! Now do keep in mind you are in a bar in a Navy town, if you have virgin ears you may not like it. New folks and people passing through are more than welcome, have made some nice new friends here. Most like to come here, unwind with friends, shoot the breeze, listen to music, play darts and pool. Over 20 TVs and all NFL games are available. Staff is awesome, however not politicly correct, very honest and hard working folks. They don't have a kitchen but do have a nice variety of munchies you may purchase. I do not come in late so cannot comment on the bands.

This placed is named correctly because it is where the Locals go. Full bar and allows smoking inside. They have a Great happy hour and some kind of entertainment each night. Usally have a different shot special each month. No food here but plenty of places will deliver.

Super fun music and the bartenders are awesome. The DJs are always awesome they actually play recent popular music you can turn up to. not some boring pre made list

Great local dive bar in Orange Park.. friendly bartenders and they always have drink specials. Music is always good there and up to date. Few pool tables in the back. Great spot to just relax and have a good time with some friends. Some of the big girls in there can be aggressive with you and try to have you take them home, just stay away from them! Keep your drunk glasses at home!

The place was clean and bartenders were very friendly; just wish they played music from the jukebox , dont want to hear just the sound of people talking..

I love this place! It's a small hole in the wall feel type bar, but it has a cozy vibe! The bartenders are so friendly! It's always a great time!! I always come back!

I am new to the area and was hoping this would be a nice place to hang out. I guess I was a little fooled by the name. I thought it would be more of an actual pub. Very scary clientele. Women cursing like sailors and an overall bad atmosphere.
