Light On The Sugar Bakery Café

A charming and quaint café with a great selection of tea and coffee, but the real stars here are the baked goods. Their cream puffs are absolutely amazing--light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Everything is fresh and tasty, and you can tell they put care into their pastries.Service is fast since most of the items are already prepared and displayed in the refrigerated front case, making it easy to grab and go. Whether you're stopping in for a quick treat or a cozy café experience, this place delivers. Definitely a must-visit for pastry lovers!

Overall this place was great. I loved the ambiance, super cute and quaint. Major points on flavor but the parking is pretty difficult to get in and out of. I went at 1:30 on a Friday and it was pretty gridlock right there in the parking lot.As for the inside, super cute love the vibe just pretty small. I lucked out and was able to get a two top to sit and eat, but ate pretty quickly to be able to give others a chance.As for the flavor, totally awesome. I purchased the tiramisu creampuff absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of cream to pastry. Nice crisp hard sugar glaze on top super fresh fruit. I also purchased the cookies and cream latte iced absolutely a 10/10. Definitely a spot that I would have to pre-plan to go to not really an every day or on my way home kind of a Location but overall super cute. Definitely great for a light dessert after dinner date.

I've been wanting to try Light on the Sugar! I know they also have a location in Orlando with lots of aesthetic sweets so I was very excited. The space is super cute and I imagine a decent place to get some work done. And they have a decent variety of desserts and drinks. The cream puffs are in my opinion the perfect individual size. The cream is so light and fluffy and honestly the price wasn't too bad. The other desserts are a bit more on the pricier side. I also tried the ube cheesecake and the ube flavor was sooo strong. In a good way of course.

Such a quaint little sweet space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything looked absolutely delicious making the choices very difficult. I chose the cookies and crème iced latte and a strawberry cream puff. Both were outstanding. Looking forward to trying more of their treats! I love that they have outdoor seating!

They had a great selection of desserts available and long with coffee and teas. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff and asked if we had been here before and to let them know if we had any questions. We had the coffee team puff, the Uber sliced cheesecake and the Uber icon it Pana cotta. As always their desserts aren't super sugar but they were packed with flavor. We love the cozy atmosphere and quiet setting of the bakery. Even if it's busy you can find a seat inside or outside. 10/10 recommend

I am so glad I finally checked this place out! Everyone is talking about this place!! Location and parking 9/10Ambiance 9/10 Prices are a bit high. But quality is very high. Pumpkin coffee drink 10/10 Dirt cup 15/10 !!!!!Crème puff 10/10Both tiramisu deserts 9/10 Will absolutely be back!! The staff was delightful also!

Finally tried Light on the Sugar here in Jax! I heard their sister locations that popped up in Orlando first were quite tasty. I'm happy to report the location in the St Johns TownCenter mall is most delectable. Here is what we ordered: Tiramisu, two latte's (strawberry matcha with oat milk + dalgona with whole milk) ube cheesecake, and a dark chocolate pistachio tart.Out of all of these options, the ube cheesecake was my favorite. All not overly sweet, or undersweet. If you do try the ube cheesecake, fair warning, it will make you mouth/teeth a deep hue of purple for a few minutes. There were two girls working behind the order counter who had great suggestions of what their favorites were, as well as what the most popular orders overall usually are.There are a few suggestions I didn't get this visit but looking forward to trying on another visit. (Puffs and macarons) I visited in the late afternoon. I do recommend visiting early on if you want a visual of everything they have to offer. I had plenty to pick from but I did notice as people finished early dinner times, it did get quite crowded and less options were available to order on a typical Friday. Light on the Sugar is a bit pricier than other competitor bakeries here in Jax. This isn't a place I'd frequent too often because it is a pricey treat; but I do think the quality is there. I loved trying this recommendation a fellow yelp elite suggested (thanks Rachel T) Light on the Sugar is officially Treat O Clock friendly ; ) Happy to support local at lil gems like this.

We were bringing desert to a family dinner and wanted to bring something different. Found this business on Yelp, zipped in and bought a variety. They were a huge hit!! My BIL said it was his new favorite food!

Ube cheesecake and pistachio tart are my favorites For the whole cake - you gotta order at least 3 days ahead due to staffing / head baker schedule Amazingly delish and I am happy that it's just near me.

Upset. Everything look good. But they left something in my food. They make me have to very careful to check what I eat.
