Lewey's Seafood and Wings

How has this business been around for 5 years and I am just now discovering it? The chicken wings with the Lewey's Sauce (Sweet & Tangy) are excellent! So good, I had to go back to get more for dinner.This food truck is located at the corner of Lane & Normandy in the parking lot of Emmanuel Food Store on the westside. You can call in your order or just walk up and place your order at the food truck window. The service is really fast and friendly. Everything is made to order.I recommend the wings in any of their combo plates. The wings, shrimp and French fries are seasoned and cooked perfectly. There's a little kick in their Sweet & Tangy sauce that raises the bar for the mustard-based bbq sauce in town. I really enjoyed the flavors. The portions are generous for the price.I have added Lewey's Seafood & Wings to my rotation of best little chicken wing spots in the area. And the Garlic Shrimp Plate with a boiled egg, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob and peel-n-eat shrimp smothered in garlic butter is pretty filling, too. There are covered picnic tables conveniently provided at this location where you can eat your entree on-site. They don't sell any beverages, but you can buy one at the convenience store next door. Definitely no fuss and nothing fancy. Just delicious wings and seafood.

For a pop-up restaurant, the food is very good. The price is great. The seafood is fresh.

This place is fried food paradise! They do have garlic seafood offerings and that may be on the list of things to try next time. The shrimp, wings and gizzards were are awesome, that homemade sauce added to the awesomeness. I was expecting crinkle fries but instead got Cajun fries which were good too. My meal ran around 15 bucks but there's wasn't a whole lot of food imo. 4 wings, 10 shrimp and a few pieces of gizzard. Still - I'll be back!

Great little food art. Quick and tasty. Order extra wings as they go down quick. Food carts can be hit or miss but this one is a hit!

First time trying this place and I will be back because the food was good. But the customer service by Penny the cashier was not. She seemed like she had an attitude like I was her ex old man or something. She also gave me someone else's food. Got the the $5 wing and fry plate and the $5 shrimp and fry plate. The wings were good with the Lewey sauce but they were pretty much room temperature. The menu says you get 10 shrimp and I got only 8. The shrimp were good though. I'll definitely come back but that customer service has to improve or Ima have to bounce. Update: service I had today was very good. The lady I dealt with was very nice so I changed from 3 to 4 stars. Got 10 wings, 5 shrimp, and fries for $10. Pretty good deal. Everything was hot and fresh.

The hot lemon pepper wings were good. The Cajun ranch was more like just a ranch. But over all, the wing was a good crispy fried wing with decent fries. I would definitely eat here again.

Worst customer service ever. Holier than thou attitude and not clean. Young lady was extremely rude and cook just kept on shoveling his mouth. Ugh

Excellent food and prices. Very friendly. I had the shrimp. The sides were good and the portions were very sufficient. I look forward to my next visit there.

The food was hot. The fries were a nice size- no short stumps. The shrimp had the perfect crunch.

I travel for work so it's hard finding good spots every single time I go out to eat. I can honestly say this is a 10/10. The eats were amazing. The service was on point, I placed my order and within seconds they called and gave a heads up that they don't have fries and asked what they could replace it with. I showed up and the 2 working the truck were very friendly. All around 10/10 will definitely come back when I'm in Jacksonville.
