We just happened to wander in here, and I'm happy we did! It's clean and simple inside but the food was great! We got the special of the day which was chicken or pork ribs cooked in a savory tomato sauce served with potatoes, rice and beans, delicious! I would have loved some more veggies cooked in the sauce too, but that's just my personal preference. I agree this is like going to someones house and getting a home cooked meal, so good! I need to come back and try more things but that special was bangin!

I got takeout for lunch this week, and it was really delicious. Location is a bit rough around the edges, but the inside is very clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy - this place is all about the food. Service was friendly and attentive. I had the ropa vieja special. Highly recommend. It was a large portion that came with rice, beans, and maduros. Everything was hot and fresh. I was surprised the place was empty at lunchtime. Give them a try!I can't wait to return to try other menu items.

Came out here on a IG recommendation from an influencer name Ashley. She didn't miss! All the food we ate was on the money. The place is a bit small and honestly has a rough look. Not very appealing outer or inner look but their food is hella good. It's a take out spot for me! Maduros- A++Rice- A++Black beans A++Breaded Steak and Ropa Veija- A++Cheese and chicken Pastellios- B+

DELICIOUS!!! Tapaste like a home cooker meal. The space is nice and clean. The service was so fast and kind. Im telling everyone about this place you have to try it! It's so hard to find authentic good Latin food in Jacksonville so I am so happy to found this place!

Excellent ropa vieja with homemade style black beans and perfect plantains. Nice portion that could be split for lighter appetites

Excellent, excellent, excellent food! Amazing taste in every dish I ate. Lomo saltado is fantastic and the beans are superb! Coming back!

Best restaurant ever one of the best pastels I've had in a long time and i would recommend coming here any day.
