Latin Soul Grille

The best empanadas hands down. My bowlers and I absolutely love this truck. We sell them out every Tuesday but we also found that they are next to the courthouse on Wednesday! Customer service is always great. I think we've told everyone on the office about them.

Love this truck. I tried them for the first time years ago and I've been a fan since day one. They also make a great homemade hot sauce for all the hot sauce lovers. It's not for anyone who isn't into spice. They're always so nice and it doesn't take long to get your order.

I had just left the grocery store with a plan for dinner when I saw this food truck in my neighborhood. There was no line so I went up to look at the menu to see if anything interested me.I ended up getting the sampler ($12) which came with a taco and an empanada along with rice. I asked the owner for a suggestion with regard to the meat in the taco and he said that he recommended the pulled pork taco and a beef empanada. So that's what I ordered. I also added a side of plantains ($5).When I opened up the container, it looked pretty simple. My expectations honestly we're not that high. But, when I bit into the taco, I knew I was dealing with something pretty exceptional. The smoke on the pork was fantastic and the cilantro lime sauce added an additional layer of flavor along with the pico. I was definitely impressed. The pork was better than most of the barbecue restaurants around town. The beef empanada was also very good. The meat was well seasoned and very moist. While the plantains were a little dark for me and not as soft as I usually like them, I wasn't disappointed with them. I did find the mix of ketchup and mayo a little odd as a dipping sauce for the plantains. They didn't need it so I didn't use it.The portions here were sizable - the empanada and taco were stuffed with meat. The owners were very friendly as they took my order and the wait time was very short. All of this, in addition to the wonderful flavor of the food made this a five-star truck experience. This was definitely a better option than what I was originally planning to eat!

Anywhoos...@latinsoulgrille made a stop today and this is my first time having them.This is the BBQ pulled pork plate with yellow rice and sweet plantains. Tender pulled pork drizzled with a delicious sweet BBQ sauce. Perfect with a spoonful of the yellow rice. If I could go back in time I would try the empanadas, or even a rice plate. Next time I see this truck for sure!Tacos were STUFFED and packed with flavor. The rice was on point.Person taking the order was super nice. Highly recommend.

Latin Soul Grille occasionally stops by the Metro Office for lunch from 11AM until 2PM. Friendly service with a smile each time.1) Barbecue Pulled Pork meal. I get the BBQ sauce on the side because I believe the sauce may dilute the smokey flavor of the pork. Plenty of food for what I paid. I eat half and eat the other half the next day for lunch. I save money and I don't overindulge. Win-win! 2) Grilled Chicken Stew with fried plantains. I don't want to describe it. It's that good!The mayo sauce that they include reminds me of the shrimp sauce served in Japanese / Chinese restaurants. It goes well with the tostones, but I also use it with the pulled pork. They complement each other.

I've been to this food truck so often that I consider myself family! The people are very pleasant and the food is always done right! The BBQ Chicken combo is my favorite with the tostones that I dip in the pink sauce religiously!! I always add hot sauce on my rice and add the golden bbq sauce to everything as well.

Some of the most amazing food around can be found in many of the local food trucks. Sometimes chains own them or, at others times, some of the very best are of the ma and pop variety. The Latin Soul Grille food truck's Latin and BBQ fusion-style in its offerings has a uniqueness of it's own and was a tasty delight for dinner recently! Gary and Maritza are super friendly and engaging with the customers. Besides a solid menu, they offer catering and service for events. Their social media sites include Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, which should make seeing what they have to offer easier. My choice this evening included two tacos, grilled chicken and one pork that came with yellow rice that was lightly mixed with beans. It was great to try a new type of cuisine. Trying the Latin Soul Grille has motivated me to visit more shops or food trucks like this to widen my experience with how foods are prepared in other parts of the world. It's amazing what a great food truck can do for you!For this one, the friendliness, food portions, ease of order - and the wait wasn't too long (at least that cool Latin-style music they play will make your worry about time go away!), it's not hard to see why it's so well-liked. I liked it and would visit again without question!Recommend: HIGH

Legit contender for the best food truck in town, and maybe the frontrunner. I wasn't sure what to expect when I tried it the first time, because I've been burned by a couple of the other Latin-type trucks that pop up downtown (which all seem to put out food lacking in flavor or seasoning altogether). I had nothing to worry about. Latin Soul Grille's food is fresh and super flavorful. I asked for guidance on what was good the first time I stopped by; the friendly man at the window recommended the chicken rice bowl and the empanadas; obviously, I went with both. The beef empanada might be the best empanada I've ever had. Great dough, not too thick (especially at the edges), good spicy filling. The bowl had fresh pico on top of a tasty stewed chicken and yellow rice combo, which was enhanced by a dose of the pepper vinegar they keep on a table to the side. A legit excellent meal, and $9 for the chicken bowl is a steal. The folks behind the counter were very friendly. I'm going to hit them up every time I see them downtown.

These folks are the best and the food is awesome also. If your out and about and see them stop and get cha a bite................ yum :)
