Laredo Mexican Restaurant

Camping nearby and was told this place is great so we came for Friday night dinner. From the outside, it's pretty low key but as soon as you enter, you're met with classic Mexican decor! The restaurants busy but we were sat right away. Service was great, very attentive and made sure our chips and drinks were always full! I had the carnitas and they were delicious! Super flavorful and juicy! The rice is yummy too. My friends had the Texas fajitas and they raved about the flavor of the dish! Their meats were cooked beautifully and well seasoned. And the portion was huge! Hubby had the grilled steak burrito and it was similarly flavorful and fresh tasting. This had the feel of a neighborhood favorite! Highly recommend!

So, Mama was out of town, and I was craving Mexican food. Heard they have chorizo, which made my decision that much easier. Was seated promptly, and was slightly depressed when my server told me they had no draft beer. And their selection of bottles on-hand was less than impressive. At least Dos Equis Amber was one of the meager offerings. Chips and salsa were OK, salsa could use a bit more spice and flavor. Ordered the Burrito Combo, which has one steak and one chorizo burrito. The steak one was very good, but the chorizo burrito was underwhelming. No spice to the chorizo, and a hint of slightly overcooked flavor. Add to that my beans were super runny and the rice was bland. Decor is pretty typical for a Mexican place and service was quite good, aside from the fact that my server called me "Bro" throughout my entire meal. Service keeps this place from 2 star territory.

Several people recommended this restaurant a little tiny little store front in a shopping center. You miss it if you drive too fast. But I could tell by the numerous cars in the parking lot that they were there.walked in and was seated right away. Took a few minutes to get our order taken, but the girl was really busy with other tables. While we were sitting there, people just kept on coming in. It was lunch time so is expected. Chips and salsa were o k. Jalapeno poppers were good, but they gave no kind of sauce for dipping or plates. Wife's quesdilla was burnt but manageable. My grilled chicken breasts came with no topping. Unless you wanted to pay extra most Mexican restaurants, put some kind of cheese on this particular dish so I ate it by itself. It was very dry.. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Folks that recommended this restaurant were surprised at how our service and food was. Next time, it could be better if we go back highly unlikely, though.

Went on a Friday around 6:00, super busy little place. Staff was friendly and food was ok. We were seated immediately but there were wait times if you wanted a larger booth, we were a party of 3 and smallerbooths were readily available. Wait time for the food wasn't too bad, especially considering the crowds. I ordered the tamale dinner, it was very bland, I won't say it was horrible but probably wouldn't order it again. Husband ordered steak Fajitas which he said were good, maybe I'll try that if we go back. Overall, not terrible, maybe I'll give them another try when it's not so busy.

We were greeted, served quickly. The waitress was very pleasant. Food was good as well as the portions. Salsa was fresh and not too hot, We enjoy eating local and this place did not disappoint. The decorations are interesting.

Nothing fancy on the outside, but some of the best fresh-made Mexican cuisine I've eaten. They are very reasonably priced and authentic to the point that they are FAMILY-owned and RUN! I suppose since the drinks during happy hour were so inexpensive, my only complaint were the drunk men at the booth behind us. One man was so drunk his fly was completely open and disgusting enough, he goes commando. Eww. Thankfully, before our meal was delivered to our table, they were asked to leave. This is authentic Mexican food and very very good. My husband always gets the Chile Relleno. He's absolutely hooked on this dish. I sometimes get a chimichanga or try other menu items, but he always sticks to his favorite Our food has always been timely and hot and delicious. Service sometimes isn't the best, but when a restaurant is packed and there are people waiting for any table to open, you know they are busy as heck and are trying like heck to wait on everyone, but sometimes it's just impossible. This is completely understandable. Try it on a week night before everyone rushes in and you'll see a completely different excellent restaurant. Weekends and dinner rush time, if you're patient, are still excellent, but a super packed restaurant.By the way, they have an AMAZINGLY decorated restaurant on the inside! LOVE the booths! Awesome!

My favorite Mexican restaurant!! ALWAYS friendly professional wonderful people in this establishment! The chicken fajitas are very flavorful delicious and wonderful. The place is very cute clean and fun! I love coming here!!

I love this restaurant, when I need my Mexican fix I'm happy it's close by. The wait staff are friendly and prompt with service. The salsa could have more spice and heat but otherwise this place has great food.

Oh my gosh. Great food and huge servings. Service was stupendous. We are only in the area for three days and will definitely go back. The menu is almost overwhelming with so many choices and even includes vegetarian selections.
