This a local market off blanding and lakeshore . Ambience is quaint and friendly . The cashier was sweet . I was surprised they offer some down home cooked meals . Cute place to get local and seasonal produce . Bring cash as they do charge extra charge when using a credit card . I will definitely be back .

This is a gem of a place. My family and locals have been going here forever. You get delicious produce, homemade jams and sauces... ANNNNND barbecue. Have you ever just wanted to get some barbecue fixin's without all the grandiose, oversized, mandatory meal orders. Then, this is your place. It's delicious. I had three, cooked and packaged ribs. $5.00, and a small tub each of baked beans with pulled pork, cole slaw, and potato salad. (Around $20.00 total) I took it over to my sisters for lunch. She liked it so much, she went back later that day and bought more for her family. I always get delicious tomatoes and squash here. My aunt loves to get their veggie dips, and my grandmom always looked forward to their apple butter. They take debit cards now for a small fee but it's best to just have cash.

Expensive but the brisket is killer. Their tomatoes are also very good and unlike other outlets, the vine-ripe quality is very consistent. Another tip: I had a craving for a baked potato, did not want to stop at Publix after I bought potatoes so, I purchased their sour cream. I am not sure if they make it but it was the best sour cream I have tasted in a while.

I stopped in there today. K love the cucumbers and squash they have. Today apparently was it a goof day for them The peaches were way past the fresh date. The Crowder Peas were not fresh either. I still love to go tnere.and now they do take debit cards. I love that.Joyce Becton

This place is amazing! It's small and is a Paleo diet lovers dream. Basically some meat and some produce, what could be better than this. They carry some pita bread, some jarred sauces and spice and such. There are a few legumes, a couple of frozen pies and a few deli type items. For the most part though it's already smoked meat and fruit and vegetables. Nothing rare or ethnic food aisle worthy, just plain simple good local crops. The customer service was awesome and I'm so glad we stopped. We bought some brisket and I have to say, it's the best I've ever eaten. You don't even need sauce with it because it's so juicy. I think it was $14.98/lb and worth every penny. For that price we got 5 thick slices and it was more than enough to feed two people and saved me fr having to cook dinner! $Cash, check only, they don't take credit or debit cards.

Great place for fresh produce. During the summer months they have green peanuts (for boiling), fresh butter beans, black eyed peas, white acre peas. Always a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. It's wonderful to find a local business that provides so much and is doing so well. The store reminds me of the grocery stores of 60+ years ago, small,not automated, great people working there. Cash/check only.

We were in Grassroots and heard a worker going home talking about picking up some brisket on his way home. We were curious because my husband loves brisket so we asked. He told us to go here that you can get meat by the pound. We've driven by a lot but just thought it was a produce market. We decided to stop by that same day and eat what was intriguing us. While the do offer a ton of produce, they have a little hot bar. They have a lot of different Smoker meats but we came for the brisket! You have the option to make what you get off the hot bar a sandwich but we decided just brisket, chips, and their homemade sweet tea. They also have a ton of homemade sauces. I got the most popular and it was pretty tasty. Brisket was yummy! What a great place to fulfill a craving without the hassle of making a whole brisket yourself. Price was great for what we were getting. Since their main thing is a market this is a take home meal, there's no seating. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!

Great little place to shop for produce! Everything is usually very fresh.They have a nice selection and the prices are very good as well. the place is easy to get in and out of on the way home and much more convenient the running threw some of the bigger grocery stores. But remember its cash only.thats the only draw back.

A lot of variety packed into a small space. Wonderful made in-house foods, like smoked salmon, brisket, ribs. I just wish they carried organic fruits and vegis.

Best place on the west side for produce. BBQ and prepared food is also great. They take credit cards now.
