La Petite Academy on St Johns Bluff Rd

I'm shocked no one else has raved about this place yet! This isn't my first La Petite my child has attended as he spent the summer at a location in Northwestern South Carolina that always looked and sounded like an ABSOLUTE FREE FOR ALL!!!! My child has been at this location for almost 2 years now and I couldn't be happier! The staff is amazing! The curriculum is teaching my child more than I ever expected in a early preschool setting (in the fall, my child will be in PVK).It's nice to see the same staff (teachers) over and over again meaning the turnover rate is limited. There is a great outdoor playground for all children to enjoy.The only issue I have is the location. It is 5 or 6 car-lengths from a stop light with a left turn median. This all boils down to a nightmare to get in and/or out of the parking lot on a regular basis. However, I'm not gonna fault La Petite for this issue.Ask me anytime anywhere and I'll say this location is great!

I picked my child up on several occasions with injuries that were never reported. My child was injured at this childcare center 3 times I noticed the injuries at pick up that were never reported. The teachers and directors did not inform me of any incidents, nor did they ever write any incident reports. I spoke with both directors Ashley Estep and Jenna Davis several times about my safety concerns; they both did nothing to make a safer environment for my child. We observed several times on the camera's kids horse playing roughly without supervision. The classrooms are over packed with only one teacher most of the day which might be causing the lack of supervision. I withdrew my child after the last unreported incident that left a severe scratch on his face. I am extremely disappointed with the care that my child received while attending LePetite Academy St Johns Bluff. This childcare center lacks efforts to keep children safe. These teachers and directors are obviously not monitoring the kids properly.
