La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila

We went to celebrate 3 birthdays, got there early so not crowded.We were promptly seated served chips and salsa which was delicious,asked to get some pico de gallo no problem I like to add it to my salsa.We got 3 pictures of margaritas two blended one on the rocks, very flavorful no skimping on the booze.Service was excellent as was the food! They gave us three orders of flan for the birthday party.The ambiance was colorful and cheerful. If you go don't think you'll be disappointed!

La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila is great choice for Mexican food not far off of Interstate 75 in Lake City, Florida Walking in, I liked the bright, festive ambiance and vibe. I was greeted warmly and brought to my table. My server was friendly and professional and was very attentive. They brought over the chips and salsa. The salsa was nice and chunky. I went with the lunch special of the California burrito. My server asked if I wanted chicken, ground beef or steak. I opted for steak. I would later find on my check that there was a two dollar upcharge for steak. Not a big deal, but my server should have mentioned it.The burrito was very good. I would definitely recommend this particular menu item.I would definitely recommend La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila.

We are traveling with our fur babies. La Fiesta has a nice outside eating area that allowed us to enjoy this treat of a restaurant. The food was outstanding and the margaritas were maybe the best in Lake City, but we're still fact checking that. My burrito Cancun had huge shrimp that really made me feel like I got my value. Ms Ginny had shrimp tacos that also hit the mark. Our waitress was nervous about our golden doodle but quickly realized he is just a brown marshmallow and loves people. Have to say we did carry out in colder weather here last year and it was great to eat it here. Mucho Gracias for the great meal

The food here is very good! Generous portion of chips w/4 different kinds of salsas. My California Burrito was amazing! Watermelon margarita was one of the best I've ever had The service I received was second to none! I would definitely go back if I lived in Lake City.

Authentic Mexicana. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The food was perfectly prepared. Spicy and hot together made for wonderful soft shell Tacos that I made myself. Shredded pork that was cooked to perfection along with rice and beans.The server, Jenny, brought me three different salsas to try after I told her I did the one chip challenge. One salsa brought the sweat. Great.The music in the background and the decor was total Mexicana. Overall a very good experience. I highly recommend this place.

The food was amazing and the service was good too. The decoration inside the restaurant reminded me of the movie Coco and very happy place. Enjoyed the food and very flavorful.

They make fresh guacamole, which was super good and I had their fajitas which was very tasty as well. Super quick service and nice employees!

When we walked in I LOVED the decorations. The place is beautiful. We were seated, there was one one other couple there. I am Gluten free and I made that VERY clear with the waitress. I told her it was medical. I talked about it for awhile because I like to let them know it's medical. When I ordered she suggested I get tacos because the shell is corn . My meal was a big nothing for what we were charged (2 small tacos with very little chicken or beef and not at that good either, but my husbands dinner looked very good. Bill came to $70. Then at home I get the gluten reaction I get when I eat gluten and I haven't had this in 3 years because I've been so careful. I plan on going to see the manager to talk about it. I'm upset that the waitress didn't know what I was talking about or whatever happened I got a reaction. The other thing I witnessed is one of the waitresses leave the bathroom stall and NOT wash her hands. She just marched right out of the ladies room. Not cool!

Strong 4, hoping to change it to a 5.I was in town visiting family. After waking up too early, I drove quite a ways away to hike. I hiked a good (wonderful) distance so by the time I made it back to Lake City, I was famished! I enjoy Mexican cuisine and opened up Yelp! This location looked appealing-I navigated immediately-I WAS HUNGRY.I was seated quickly and was sat next to a group of boisterous men. I was fairly spent and they were fairly loud, I was worried.My lovely server provided my menu and asked my beverage choice. I opted for an iced tea, half sweet/half not. (These guys are still carrying on!)My tea arrived, which was perfect, and I ordered a lunch option of Enchiladas Verdes. Remember that I stated that I was famished? A "regular" enchilada order contains FOUR enchiladas. The lunch portion only contained TWO. One chicken, one steak.My chips and salsa then arrived and WOW! The chips were fresh, light and crispy. Not greasy at all. Perfect amount of salt too. The salsa was soooo yummy. It contained onion and cilantro! I enjoy some heat but I realize that everyone does not, this hit the spot. Now these guys next to me are still carrying on! They are speaking mostly in Spanish and even though I am not a native Spanish speaker, I can understand bits and pieces. They are just having a grand time messing with one of their buddies. Just as I realize this, this poor dude got up from his chair and walked smack into a planted cactus on display! It could not have been "planned" any better! The cactus fell and the pot smashed on the floor. His table exploded into mass hilarity! I found myself almost crying with laughter! The staff was great! They laughed too! No one, including the cactus, was injured during this incident.Then my lunch arrived. Forever grateful that I ordered the lunch portion! WOW! I've had better salsa verde (my four rating as opposed to a 5). It wasn't bad at all, just had better. The chicken enchilada was better than the beef. The chicken was seasoned wonderfully. I told my son, who lives nearby, that I highly recommend this restaurant. He just text me that he and his wife went tonight and it's THE BEST mexican food he has ever had. YAY! He ordered a rice bowl and she ordered a taco plate-I don't have their exact orders but they enjoyed it at my recommendation.

Very good services. They don't understand English much. Margarita order was wrong. Lunch order came wrong.The Handicap ladies stall is dangerously wobbly.Service is fast. Guacamole at table was ok.
