The service was great. The lovely lady taking our order was so sweet and patient while we decided what to order. We got the lechon kawali silog and tapsilog both amazing! We also ordered the sisig empanda (a must!), an ube smoothie, lumpia, ensaymada, and ube tiramisu. Everything was so delicious and we can't wait to come back!

This was my first time at the new location. I preferred the old location: bright and cheery, with lots of racks of baked goods and refrigerators of prepared foods (as I remember it anyway). There seem to be fewer racks and refrigerators (hidden around the corner now), and it isn't as bright and cheery with the nice view it used to have. Well, I'm sure the food is as good as ever. We just got a couple of takeout things this time. The mango cake ($5.49 for a slice) wasn't a favorite of either of ours. We made the mistake of putting the siopao ($3.69) in the refrigerator just wrapped in the paper it came in, and it was dried out the next day when we ate it. Kusina isn't as close to where we live as it used to be, but there are still many things I want to try on their menu, and I'll be back.

I can't believe I haven't t made a review for Kusina! We have been here several times and it's always a treat! Our favorites are their breakfast silogs, but I believe they serve them all day. It's a complete meal with garlic rice, egg and protein! Whether it will be Pork Tocino, Beef Tapa, or Milk Fish, always dip them in vinegar, so delicious! And let's not forget their cakes and pastries! I love their sans rival and Food for the Gods! Let's not forget the pandesal and Ensaymada! All yummy! They also sell cooked meals such as Sinigang, Pork Menudo, Lechon Paksiw, and so much more! You can also order custom made cake! Service was fast even though it's made to order, just be patient when they have a lot of customers. This place is located in an office building so they are only open on weekdays. Plenty of parking!

We stopped at a new Philippine restaurant and bakery on Kernin Blvd called Kusina. It may be small, but the food makes up for it. Everything is made homemade in-house. We had to try the pancit with lumpia and couldn't resist the chicken empanadas. All the food was very delicious. One thing we liked was that the empanada dough was not sweet like other places we've tried; this dough was like pot pie crust - flaky with crispy edges and well-seasoned chicken filling. Prices were reasonable, and the hospitality was great.

Food - Ube Boba Smoothie, it's creamy, nutty, and jelly. All separate combination but it's just a perfect pairing of inconsistent texture to make a unique flavored drink. This drink is not for what your normal expectations of Boa. It was an acquired taste. This place is a deli. I haven't eating anything from here because I do not understand the menu.

Great customer! Staff is always friendly. Food is delicious! Lots of options to choose from. Great location and there's a patio outside if you have your fur baby with you. Try everything you will not be disappointed! My brother introduced us to this place several years ago. I'm hooked and every visit to JAX.. this is my first go to ! Enjoy ! Love seeing Filipino businesses thrive! Glad they moved to this location the hours are more flexible now. Definitely good eats!!!

Most food are frozen it's better if they cook it fresh everyday. This place is ok. Too far to drive just to buy frozen foods

Brand new little restaurant in a little strip mall filled with small businesses. Had many recommendations on this spot when it was at their previous location, being a Philippine's food aficionado I had to give it a try. This place looks like a bakery and their menu is not that extensive. The server was friendly and eager to explain the dishes for the less experienced. I would say it is tasty but not the best pinoy food I have had.

Shoutout to Geraldine and staff! We loved everything we ate! Generous hospitality and good sized portions. We could really taste the love! I'm Guamanian and we have a lot of Filipino family and friends. This cuisine is very delicious and it takes skill and dedication to make these delicious dishes. I have a lot of respect for the dedication put into this menu. Not are the counter service hot food orders delicious, there are also so many prepared foods, desserts, and even catering available. We ate our favorites and learned some new ones! Like Ukoy ( crispy fried shrimp fritter chips ) and buko pandan smoothies! All the pansit and empanadas and breads and cakes and so much more. Friendly service and delicious food! Clean environment in the indoor dining area. ! Happy patrons! And there's also beautiful tables to sit at outside the building on the back patio by the big water fountain! And there's also lots of seating in the front lobby of the office complex. I special ordered a puto cake! It reminds me of my Grandma's care packages from Guam! It was always my favorite part, besides my Grandma's letters. I love having this venue so near me! I can come in to enjoy delicious comfort food and feel welcomed and cared for. God bless!!
