I had their Gainesville location and was impressed. Decided to skip out on my favorite ramen spot and give Kinya in Jax a try. We ordered the Kinya Ramen... The thickness of the pork broth with the black garlic oil accompanied by the marinated egg, the seared pork, bamboo and green onions was amazing! We also had their pork buns which have cucumbers in it, so different but delicious, makes the buns feel more light and fresh. The servers were super tentative and kept an eye on the table the whole time. The restaurant was nice and clean and had a pretty chill vibe. I wish it wasn't so posh or upscale, I was expecting it to have a bunch of anime and manga themed stuff... that would have been cool

I absolutely adore discovering new ramen spots! During my visit, I tried the spicy ramen with chicken and added shrimp. While the dish was enjoyable, I felt that the broth could have benefited from a richer depth of flavor. But considering we're in Jacksonville, ill take it. The pork belly yakitori was quite tender, showcasing a nice texture, but unfortunately, it fell a bit flat in terms of flavor, leaving me craving a bit more seasoning or perhaps a dipping sauce to elevate it.My wife ordered the fried rice and sushi tacos, and she found both to be quite satisfying. The fried rice had a nice balance of ingredients and flavors, while the sushi tacos offered a unique twist that she really appreciated. When we dined there, the restaurant wasn't overly busy, which allowed for prompt and friendly service. The cozy atmosphere inside was a delightful refuge from the chilly weather outside, making for a pleasant overall experience.

Eat here. Food is delicious. Menu is great. I got a sushi taco just to try it, wow it was a great idea. Bao buns (I know it's basic but they are so tasty) are great. Service was quick. Love this place.

Great ramen place. Being in Florida, we don't often feel the need to get a hot ramen dish. But when we do, we typically head to Kinya. Quick seating. Staff is effiicent at taking our orders and food prep doesn't take long. Been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. They also have a nice special where you can add an appetizer to any order for a small upgrade cost.

After a Grandson's choral concert, he, his dad, a family friend, and I went to Kinya Ramen to have supper. I had never tried this restaurant before so it was a bit of an adventure. I ordered the tuna poke bowl and the friend and my son split a larger ramen dish. My grandson ate a ramen dish all by himself! The decor is minimalist but fitting and the server was very friendly and explained items to us. I was able to avoid anything onions with the poke bowl. There were several other dishes that I would have tried and sushi selections, too. Would be very nice for a party of two or a larger group!

It was sooooo good! Our waiter, Luis, was knowledgeable and attentive. Plus the seats were comfy in the weirdest way. It definitely felt like they were interested in our experience! We started with the buns...so delicious. Fresh, well made, soft on the outside, flavorful on the inside with a bit of crunch from the veggies inside. Very well done!I got Tonkatsu and he got the Tonton. Both were steaming hot, lots of savory broth, the noodles, meat and veggies were plentiful and tasty. We also got the red bean dessert, I don't remember what it was called, but it wasn't my favorite, he loved it! Highly recommend!

Found the perfect ramen shop in Jacksonville for date night! Visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon around 5 PM, and there was no wait for a table. Our server was friendly, helpful, and super patient while we looked over the menu. He answered any questions we had and recommended a great sake.Overall, the food was fantastic. We had a couple of appetizers (takoyaki and gyoza), and two bowls of the spicy ramen with chicken. It was SO good! It had the little fish cakes in it too.The portions were very generous, and we were both stuffed. Super satisfied with my first time here. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu because it's got a little bit of everything like sushi tacos and yakitori.Highly recommend checking out this spot if you're in the area!

Just an update of photos. The buns were amazing but I will order no cheese or croutons next time as they are too generous on the salad. My Mil had the pork ramen and the seafood pancake and my husband had another combo with the pancake. He looked like a cat with a fish as they are covered with huge amount of bonito flakes. His ramen came with gold leaf.
