They are conveniently located in a shopping plaza with abundant parking though the spots right in front of the restaurants are usually occupied. This is an unassuming place, but don't let that deter you from going in and ordering some delicious food. There is available but limited seating within the shop front of the restaurant.I highly recommend their barbecue chicken and while you are at it, make sure and order an extra bottle of their hot barbecue sauce. it is spicy and delicious! This time around, I ordered the barbecue chicken with beans and rice, and it came with a side of salad and a piece of bread. Unfortunately, I was unable to take pictures of the food as I ordered to take away and by the time I got home, and pulled out my phone, the family beat me to it and started to eat the food!We placed the order via telephone for pick up and they hostess at the restaurant was very pleasant and smiling. If you have not tried Jamaican cuisine before and want an option that is very tasty, I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

I was craving some jerk chicken and wanted to give this place a try. It is a small shop with a drive thru window and I got my order pretty quickly. The jerk chicken tasted very good, but the bbq sauce on top made it strange for me. The curry fries were thick cut fries smothered with a rich gravy. Be careful though, there are bones in the gravy. My daughter said the jerk chicken was great, but she said she became sick and thinks it was the curry fries.

Worst Jamaican food in Jax. Burnt jerk chicken, with store bought barbecue sauce. Spend your money elsewhere. They're not even trying.

I was dropping off my friend at the airport, but we wanted dinner first. I jumped on Yelp and looked for a new spot to try. We arrived at 6:30 PM and placed our orders. I had the small jerk chicken served with rice and peas (aka beans) and coleslaw. I also ordered the sweet plantains. This was some of the best jerk I've ever had the pleasure of eating! It was juicy, tender, and falling off the bone. Plus, it had a slight kick a few seconds after each bite. I'm not a huge rice fan, but the dish was tasty.I'm not sure what dressing was on the coleslaw, possibly lemon or lime, but I liked it. It was much lighter than the typical choice of mayo based slaw. The plantains tasted yummy, but were less firm than I've had in the past. I heated the leftovers on my baking stone and the plantains firmed up nicely. Service was good and our food was cooked fresh to order. I can't wait to go back to try more menu items. That is if I can stay away from the jerk chicken;)

Don't let the small storefront fool you. This is some great jerk bbq. I ordered Two grab & go lunch orders of jerk chicken. It's served in a large paper bowl with rice and peas and a vinegar based slaw. The jerk was flavorful and the slaw worked perfectly when you have everything together out when eating a little with the rice after eating some chicken. The service was a little slow but honestly that's to be expected. I've never been to a Jamaican restaurant where I didn't have to wait. I'll definitely return.

In true Jamaican fashion, we left full and happy! This place is a true gem! Hubby and I were just wandering towards home and decided to stop anywhere that caught our eye. Happened upon this spot purely by chance and thrilled we did! I eat like a bird so I just ordered a side of rice and peas and some plantains. Hubby had the "small" jerk plate with fries. There was nothing small about any of this! We could have easily fed us both with just his plate, even if I was a pig! There were at least four pieces of chicken and I broke some up and ate it with my rice. The food was amazing! Everything cooked and spiced to perfection. To be clear, this is a Jamaican BBQ spot, another reviewer was out off by the sauce but that's how Jamaican bbq comes! I also totally disagree with the burnt ends being bad, those are the best parts! Everyone knows that, there's an entire restaurant called burnt ends! Everything we had was fantastic and I can't wait to come try more! The curry is supposed to be amazing. I've been to Jamaica and while no expert, I really felt it was an authentic flavor and feel. 100% will return!

When ordering I was told there would be a bit of a wait because everything is cooked to order. I said that was more than fine. When I got my food it was more than worth the wait. I got the jerk fish and it was cooked to perfection and the flavor was phenomenal. The rice had great flavor as well and wasn't dry Everything was cooked with love. I only regret one thing.... They apparently sell and bottle their jerk sauces. I highly recommend buying some as it's delicious!

The food didn't taste fresh. The service was ok. Ambiance was ok. The menu can also use some different sides. I didn't see Mac and cheese on the menu which is usually an option. I will not be returning.
