As an Italian, I am ashamed. Never in my life have I been served an Antipasto salad with American Cheese. They also had less than 2 oz of meat on a $13 salad. I wouldn't even think I would have to ask for anything other than an Italian cheese: provolone, parmesan, or even offer a feta would have been better than processed American cheese. The salad was pitiful. The olives were soft and the red peppers tasted overly vinegary. Like they were trying to cover up that they were old. This place is just sad. When we walked in it was dark, no lights on and AC not working. I should've walked right back out. My husband got the meat ball sub and the meatballs tasted like they were microwaved. The center was dry. I really am shocked the amount of solid reviews. This place feels like they are going downhill and in survival mode. I could never serve food like this. Now for the cannoli, what a sham. They tasted good on the first bite, but they were not completely filled. They did a good job of filling the cannoli for presentation, BUT NOT taste. The least you could've done was fill the cannoli. $42 later and I can say I will never return. If I want an antipasto salad Im better off at Publix, which is a sad commentary that an Italian deli cant make a better salad than Publix. 2 stars is generous. It really should be less, but I feel sorry for these people.Revised: To the entitled arrogant owner: my husband didn't even wanna go in, but I told him you had cannolis. He said the place looked sketch, because we couldn't even enter on the market side. I chose your restaurant over any place else, because I wanted an Italian experience, unfortunately based on your phony positive reviews, we were misled. As for the eyeroll, you didn't have manicotti and that is what he originally wanted. So my husband didn't wanna order and I was trying to give him suggestions. It was so dimly lit and hard to even see. So keep your lies to yourself. My husband was equally disappointed you misogynistic clown. You have to learn how to take criticism. My husband actually was the one who told me this about the cannolis. I would never misrepresent your food and I can assure the Cannolis were not filled. Facts! He was disappointed and told me I needed to put you guys on blast. Your salad sucked! I saw other photos of the salad I ordered and the slices of meat were thick. Mine were not. You could actually see through the ham. I was actually polite for not taking a photo of it, because it was pathetic. Also, I mentioned Publix, because they are actually your competition. They are a deli right? You can get similar food there right? Go order the Italian salad at the deli and compare to yours. Educate yourself before you come down on customers who are legitimately trying to support your business. You would be laughed out of NY. Please spare yourself the embarrassment.

The food here was just ok. We got an order of arancini, which was the best item we ate, but was unfortunately cold in the middle. The flavor was good though. One of us got a meatball sub, the meatballs were cool in the middle, but the sauce was lava hot. The other got a caprice sandwich, the ingredients were fresh, but not great quality. The roll was soggy from sitting in the vinaigrette, which was an immediate turn off. Our waiter was nice, but the older woman who works there was a bit of a sour puss and seemed almost annoyed that we were there. Over all, this place is a 2 1/2 at best.

This is a 4.5 star review.JPs was closed for a while and recently reopened.I'm glad they are back.I did a beef sandwich with spicy Italian gravy. Now being a formerly from Chicago. It wasn't my beloved Italian beef but it was one good sandwich.I heard about the Mac salad tried that. Lite, fresh made to order. Only negative it wasn't chilled. So my second visit as good as my first visit.I'll return to explore the menu more.

This place is a real mess. Honestly from start to finish. The waitress was rude and that's sad because the cook was a decent guy. The pasta was overcooked, sausage was dry, chicken in the parm was dry. The red sauce was on the sweet side. They drown everything in sauce and cheese and so its basically the same ole Italian-American boring stuff. But none of that can compare to the disaster that is the menu. It just doesn't make any sense. Just try ordering a plate of pasta. You'll get told that you're doing it wrong. The waitress said you can chicken parm as a sandwich or a plate. I asked what if I ordered the BLT as a plate and she walked off. Yes I was being smart but she had already annoyed me with her self-rightous attitude. Don't go here. Food and service need major work. The chairs are rickety and the place just needs to close again.

JP'S just opened this week over on Utility dr. They have a wide variety of meals from sandwiches to baked ziti and other Italian American dishes. The Chicken cutlet sandwich with the works. (Lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and spicy mustard) was hot and fresh with a crispy hoagie. I loved it and it definitely reminded me of New York. Next time I gotta get the chicken park sandwich! -They do have boars head meat-just opened so have patience if it takes a minute

My first time here and definitely not my last. My wife and I were in the Palm Coast area for the afternoon and based upon other Yelp reviews decided to order a few sandwiches for lunch. She had the cheesesteak with onions & peppers and I had the hot roast beef with brown gravy, mushrooms, peppers & onions. Both sandwiches came out piping hot and were outstandingly delicious. The quality and quantity of what we received far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, clean and inviting. A very comfortable environment and the young woman who took our orders was very helpful in guiding us with our choices and checked back with us a few times during our meal to see if everything was ok or if we were in need of anything else. Can't wait to come back again the next time we are in the area.

Delicious! We ate the meatballs, flavorful and juicy. The Italian classic supreme sandwich, order the large and toasted so you get the delicious bread, was amazing!! Must try. The coffee soda drink was delicious! The owner Anthony and his wife were so sweet and loving. What a great lunch!

Wow what a "triggered" answer from an owner!! This is why you're failing. You think you're a tough guy I guess. You would never survive in my neighborhood in NYC. You're the barking dog that never bites. I come in and you wind up calling police. I complimented your establishment and gave you constructive criticism. I have 50 yrs in food industry, owned 9 successful restaurants in NYC and am a trained CIA chef. You need to learn to accept advice. And you STILL NEVER PUT OREGANO in Marinara sauce!!

As a transplanted Italian, great Italian food - by my family standards - has been hard to find locally. This bistro is the real deal. Everything is freshly prepared, the sauce is excellent, they are using the best ingredients and each course was better than the last. This dinner special was advertised as 'small plates' but don't be fooled. Italian small plates are much bigger than what you'd expect. Portions were plentiful. Owners are super nice people who will do anything they can to ensure their patrons are satisfied. We enjoyed a relaxing meal where the noise was at a minimum, allowing four of us to converse comfortably. The menu offers a wide variety of sandwiches, grinders/subs, dinners, pasta, and catering. Beer and wine is available. If you're looking for some great, traditional italian food at a great price, this is the place!
