Jimmy Hula's is incredibly dependable in Ormand Beach on Granada that serves as a friendly come-as-you-are tacos and bowls joint for locals and those visiting that know about it from the locals. The tacos are magical as I devoured each of my three with voracious glee.The servers are very friendly and patient, and we had our food within a few minutes of ordering. Sitting in the outdoor seating area, I enjoyed the Luau tacos that were made with teriyaki chicken, pineapple mango pico, and creamy teriyaki sauce. The fire-roasted avocados were also very creamy with spice from the hot sauce basted on top.The vibes are very chill and relaxed. They have a full liquor bar and the colors of the walls and trim represent a relaxed cabana environment that could be on an island retreat. Would return to try more of the menu, without question.

We ordered the food was told food going to be 40 for it to come out. We was ok with that they were busy but it should have been our warning to go elsewhere. We ordered hamburgers that came out thinner than McDonald's hamburger that was $9.00 without fries. Fries were extra. They came out before the hamburgers and only good thing about our meals. I had to send mine back because it was missing half the meat it looked like it got stuck on the grill and was just a hard thin crust of meat. Everyone's burgers was burnt around the edges. I think their grills were up to high. Wouldn't go back.

This hit the spot!Having never been here before, I didn't know that it was a local Florida chain. Now I just wish that they had more locations across the US!I came in with my mom for a quick lunch. We walked inside and ordered at the counter, grabbed a number, and sat on their covered patio outside. It's in a shopping plaza, so not the cutest of views, but we wanted to enjoy the warmer weather.The young man who took our order was very kind. Our food came out within I think about 10 to 15 minutes? (We came on a Wednesday late afternoon with rainy weather)The Zion Bowl was absolutely to die for. Now I just wish I had the recipe recipe for myself so I could make it at home. My mom also said that the Pokado also really filling with the grilled avocado and poke on top.If I lived in the area, I would probably have this for lunch at least once a week. We left feeling so satisfied and full. Also, the price point was pretty awesome in comparison to what it'd be at home.Jimmy, two thumbs up!

This is a nice little taco spot. I walked over from the beach (less than a 5 min walk). Very friendly staff as well as they are very knowledgeable of their menu. I went middle of the week semi lunch time there was plenty of seating and staff on duty. You walk up to the front desk to order they give you a number marker that you place at whatever table you choose to sit at. They'll bring everything over to you/ask if you need anything else. Overall the food was okay could use a bit more seasoning on the protein parts of the food but other than that I'll go back if I'm ever in town.

I came here for dinner last night with my husband and 3.5 year old while on vacation this week. It looked like it would be a good place for a quick casual dinner. We all ordered and my husband paid, and then they told us they were out of tuna, so he had to order something else, even though he already paid and nothing else on the menu was as expensive as his original order. No offer to refund the difference in price. Then when they brought out our food, for some reason they brought my husband his bowl, and then didn't bring anything else for about 10min. My daughter's chicken tenders came next, and they were absolutely scalding hot. Thankfully, I checked them before she burned herself. Eventually my meal came after a long wait. I got the gnarly nachos with chicken, which turned out to be a huge portion, but the layering was awful, piles of jalapeños, beans buried under all the chips, big pools of what tasted like gas station queso, and 2 mounds of brown guacamole.Unfortunately, we left feeling unimpressed.

Cute atmosphere and a good place for a quick vegan veggie bowl. Nothing super fancy if you're plant based but it's a nice option that's by the beach.

OK at best. Had a poke bowl and it was the worst poke bowl I've ever had. Big pile of rice and little else. My wife poke over a grilled avocado. She said it was good but probably wouldn't get it again. I'll give this place one more try, tacos? I recommend keeping an eye on what you order and pay for. I asked for a receipt and I later discovered there was no itemization on it. Seemed like I paid several dollars more than I thought it should be, tax and tip included. Or it was just a 7 dollar ice tea, who knows?

Food was very good. It was brought to our table promptly. However, do not bring a seven year old to this restaurant. The profanity at the bar goes unchecked and is extremely offensive.

worst customer service EVER. if you want to wait for 25 minutes while staring at your food sitting on the counter not being served go here. i swear it seems like all the workers are drunk because how are you going to forget the sauce for my order but give me 4 forks for finger food. along with getting all my tacos wrong. i wouldn't make a yelp account and make this post if i didn't have repeated bad service every time i walk into the door.

The food is fabulous. The service is great except they are short staffed. Spencer the bartender was working his butt off. The place was packed and they only had 2 other people working. Taking orders, plus door dash orders plus take out orders,plus serving food.
