Short wait on a Monday night! I've seen this light show advertised in years past but always wondered if it was worth the $20-25 entry fee. We decided to go this particular night since they offered "free" entry with any new, unwrapped toy donation benefiting ToysforTots. There were about dozen-ish or so cars ahead of us when we arrived. Huge relief since I read about some long waits. There's tons of signs up while you're in queue instructing visitors to have their payment ready. Otherwise, you can purchase a ticket in advance and show the barcode upon entry. We donated a toy and were given a bag of glow sticks and candy canes for each person in our car. Apparently, they no longer offer hot cocoa which I'm 100% fine with - my kids would somehow manage to spill that hot mess in the car anyway! Overall, the light show was better than we expected and worth the drive. There's accompanying holiday music on FM 98.5 (?). We thought the lit-up drive-through tunnels were a nice touch. TIP: There's a max vehicle height of 7ft because of the tunnels. Keep that in mind if you have any lifts on your ride (haha!) - no, seriously.Anyway, I think younger kids might enjoy it more than teens.

Jax Illuminations is one of the few large Jacksonville light displays we never got around to visiting. That all changed this year as we were able to finally visit and see what the fuss was about.Jax Illuminations is a large drive through light show at the Moroccan Shrine. Tickets range from $25 a car on peak nights to $20 a car during the week. Once you make it through the line the experiences takes about 20 minutes to drive through. They play music that is synchro to the lights that you can listen to in your car by setting your radio to their station. Some of the lights are very impressive. Our favorite were the drive though tunnels.Unfortunately the lines to get in to the experience can get very long peaking at over an hour and a half. Going earlier or late in the evening helps minimize your wait. Luckily they have some food vendors that sell hot chocolate and food while you wait. MWe enjoyed our experience and will be making Jax Illuminations part of our yearly experience going forward.

We had such an amazing time viewing the Christmas light display. We attended the light show after Christmas as we had heard the line were extremely long right before Christmas. The company's website offers a tracker to display nthe wait time. When we went there was only a 15 minute wait time. I would recommend ordering your tickets online to save yourself a few dollars.

For $20, you and all of your passengers get to drive through a half a million lights and listen to synchronized music on their radio station (98.5). Some things to know:- It get's crowded. Don't be surprised to wait an hour or more to see the lights. - They take cash and credit card.- $20 for up to 7 people in a car.- Includes "hot" chocolate and a small candy cane. The hot chocolate isn't always hot when you get it. - There is a port-a-potty near the point where cars start to enter the attraction. - The drive time through the attraction is about 15 to 20 minutes. Don't rush through it. Enjoy the music and the lights! We brought some drinks and snacks to wait it out. Our wait was only 30 minutes on the Saturday before Christmas. They have many different scenes throughout the ride. A number of the lights are synced up to the music so you get to see all sorts of flashing lights.Yes, it's short. Yes it is a bit pricey. But it is a lot of good holiday fun. Put yourself in the right mind set and enjoy!Merry Christmas!

Who doesn't like Christmas lights? I mean, c'mon! If you weren't in the holiday spirit before this display, it will definitely get you there. We got to the Morroco Shrine 15 mins before the gates opened and there was already 1 1/2 car lines. The cost is a bit pricey but I guess you gotta pay the light bill somehow. Our carload loved it nonetheless. Our range was from 50 years old to 18 months old and everyone was "oohhing" and "aching." The coordinating music with lights and variety of blow ups made every corner a feast for the eyes. The ride itself took about 20 minutes and they played different genres of music, from Nutcracker Suite to Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You". It was magical ride through lights that I would do again.

Not worth the wait. The drive through line is long. It take one hour wait just to get the entrance. Only portable bathroom you can use before the entrance. I saw many have to use the portable bathroom due to long wait in the car. The line is long, so be prepared. Go to bathroom before come to here. The entrance is $20 per car and limited to 7 passengers max. I would said you can gather your family in one car and leave one car in front of the shrine. This will save the money. I would said $20 is too steep. I would paid the most is $5. Not worth the money while you can get free light show at some of the neighborhood.

Fun 20 minute ride! The lights sync with the music and most of the arrangements are pretty cool.Get there early. We got there at 530 so once it started we didn't have a wait. When we were leaving we saw the crazy line behind us.

It was cool the first few times. Last year we had to sit in a line for about 30-40 minutes to get into another line. The second line which was to pay was about 20 minutes. The light show itself lasted around 15-20 minutes depending how slow or fast everyone decides to drive. There are tons of lights and blow up decorations. No hot chocolate and candy cane this year, but they did hand out some goody bags. Not sure how much it was but I think the price went up a bit. If you've never been, I'd suggest giving it a shot otherwise, it's nothing to write home about.

I had a great time viewing the lights with my family this year. They have a sign that suggests a radio station to listen to while you drive through. The music is synchronized with the lights. My favourite display was the tunnel of lights you drive under.
