Great pulled pork sandwiches! Slaw was also fresh and tasty, hot fresh French fries. Bbq sauce is mustard based, it really goes well with the pork!

Absolutely love Jalens BBQ. Had the bbq chicken, collard greens and macaroni n cheese which was absolutely delicious. Definitely be back I want to try some of Jalens ribs next.

Went here recently. The service was sub-par. The employee was too busy talking to his friends than taking our order. The food is good but the service and wait time (over 30 mins) is awful.

Definitely a bbq place you would expect to find in a southern town. Great place to go if you want some good southern bbq and sides at a good price. The ribs and pulled pork are always cooked well and they are very generous with bbq sauce. The French fries tend to disappoint just not to great all around but they aren't the selling point of the restaurant at all.The mac n cheese is always quite good very creamy and cheesy which is what you would be expecting maybe a little lacking on the seasoning but nonetheless it's a place worth eating at. And it's hard to beat 11$ for a big pulled pork sandwich and two sides especially these days

Get the loaded fries ! These guys are not stingy. Enough to share. We get these when we pass through Folkston, GA.

jalens is the best food, customer service, loving people. They catered my father's 90th birthday party and everything was spot on. Better than any of the local barbecue chains and independent chains. Stopped in when I saw it on my way home to Savannah this past Sunday. I was so happy to see a little BBQ place open on Sunday! The lady who helped me was lovely. The order was ready in just minutes. The food was wonderful and the portions enormous. Will definitely stop next time I'm in Folkston.
