Easy and accessible parking, lots of tables and computers to work at including study rooms, a children's area and a teens area, and early voting! What more could you ask for? They also have a decent collection of media to check out, as well as some vending machines in the front in case you want a snack.

Quiet spot and very cool plac to sit, read and use to use the computer. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. I even took a Excel class at this location a couple of years back. Nice spacious and quiet to enjoy the pleasantries of the phase, * Reading is fundamental. It really is

Very nice library and access to computers. One of best things is beautiful view in front of spacious window with plenty of seating and reading & rocking chairs. Also room to right as you enter with snack & soda machines so you can bring a sandwich and munch. Lovely Idea !! Come on in & enjoy!!

This is an awesome library! The people that work here are terrific and very accommodating. I am a part of a poetry/writing organization and we have hosted several events in the meeting rooms here. The location is fantastic and the rooms are great! The staff is very helpful and overall this makes for a very positive experience. Our events have been very successful here.

I didn't realize until today that I never reviewed my favorite library! I started visiting this location during my time as a student at UNF and still visit regularly. This location has lots of seating for working or studying, computers that you can use, and meeting rooms on top of a great selection of books. They have a kids section and a teen section as well. The parking lot is large and you can return books in the drop boxes outside too. Your library card can also get you ebooks and audiobooks so you don't even have to visit in person! Jacksonville has fantastic local libraries and I can't recommend them enough.

I have been coming here over the last three years and the staff is wonderful. This library is so good that it has become my go to library in Jacksonville. There is ample parking out front and you do not even have to get out of your car to return a book, because there is a book deposit drive through. If you do go inside you will see a spacious library with a lot of helpful staff. This locations boasts a lot of books and in the instances where they do not have a book you have the option of getting it from a different branch or even borrowing from other countries in Florida. This location is great for meeting up with peers to work on a project, tutoring, or just to study for a test. The library is rather close to town center so you can go and grab a quick coffee or bite and come back. They also have clean bathrooms, computers with internet access, and you can print for a fee here. This place has a lot going for it.

The Southeast Regional Library is my favorite! I signed up for a library card within weeks of moving to Jacksonville last year. I've been visiting this location almost weekly since then. They have an expansive book and dvd selection. And if you can't find what you are looking for at this location, you can have it transferred from any Jacksonville library branch.I absolutely love the Jacksonville Public Library app! It's very user friendly and so convenient. You can research books and movies, place holds on items, manage holds, renew checkouts, arrange curbside pickups and so much more. The self checkout is great! You can walk right in, grab what you need and check out without waiting in a line. The staff members are always welcoming and helpful, too! A few more great things about the Southeast branch include:-Meeting and conference rooms available-Clean bathrooms-Early voting location-Book and media return drop-off bins outside-Children's areaDon't forget to support your local libraries!

I am a big fan of Duval County Libraries especially the Southeast Branch which is conveniently located off Gate Parkway Blvd heading west just a bit on Deerwood Park Blvd. There's a lot to like about this Southeast Branch: for this part of JAX, this was considered the "modern" designed library way before the Pablo Creek Branch Library was built. The brick exterior is beautiful and there are two bins for drive through drops of Library materials -- books, VHS tapes (gasp), Compact Discs and DVDs. This is a huge perk to have 24/7 drop offs and I loved this from day one!Two other "leading edge" features of the interior layout that I love: (1) this Branch was one of the first to install those "self-check out by scanning the barcode machines"...then take your receipt and go and (2) this branch also is equipped with conference and private study rooms with doors that close shut..all easy to reserve by checking availability at the library services desk! There are so many other pluses - I could keep going on because they have a great set up here at the "Southeast Branch Stacks!" Check it out one day and you'll see what I mean!

This is one of my favorite libraries to visit in town. Linda was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Linda guided us into the correct sections and also gave us a excellent tutorial on how the libraries website works. She definitely went above and beyond in assisting us with our interests and even recommended some authors to us as well. We really appreciated her superior hospitality. Thanks again Linda. We shall see you again. With Gratitude,Marissa Karley&Tanya Mae

The Duval County Deerwood Park Blvd has literally one row of fiction books written by African Americans and they are worn and or dated. This is a sad disgrace. I wish I had the ability to post a pic.
