I have been to the Pablo Creek Jacksonville Public Library many times as it's close to my house. The majority of my visits have been early voting. But I've also used the library services to print and make copies. As the library is one of the cheapest options. You can log into a computer using your library card and access your email to print documents. On this visit, I needed 60 copies for an upcoming meeting.I stopped by the front desk first and I'm so glad I did because the copying process had changed. Chris was so helpful and sweet. She came from behind the desk, walked me to the self service machine where you she assisted me with checking my balance and adding additional funds to my account. You can now use your debit or credit card instead of cash. But cash is still an option. Then she walked me to the copy machine and showed me how to log in. She suggested I print a few copies first to make sure they looked good. Again, she was such a help, because there was a line going down the page that was not on my original copy. She cleaned off the glass and suggested I use that option instead of the manual feed. Voila, the line was gone.If you're looking for a book or need to use the library services, I highly recommend the Pablo Creek location.

Small library and probably closer to 3 1/2 stars when it comes to selection of books but rounding up because of the service. My printer broke recently so I came here to print. It's $0.15/page which is about average. You need a physical card to print and use the computers. Money can be added to your account with a librarian. She was nice enough to show me how to use it since it was my first time. There's a computer that you'll have to scan your card to get one assigned. After scanning, there are two options to select. Go with the Adult option and then log into the assigned computer. Once you send the job to the printer, you'll need to scan your library card again, but at the printer computer to view and release the document you want printed. Easy enough once you use it the first time. Books can be put on hold online and picked up at the the shelves located near the checkout desk. Materials can be renewed online, by phone or in person. A smaller library but helpful staff. Check the hours before coming here since they're a little weird.

We love our library abs are grateful to have it nearby. This location has a wonderful children's section and a teen area too.I like using their website and reserving what I want in advance, then they put it on hold and I just go pick it up. Super convenient! For Covid concerts, they are super vigilant, taking temps, requiring masks, using a health screening and social distancing. This library is a great resource for the community. :)

This is my favorite neighborhood library! The Pablo Creek Branch library has an awesome set up which includes many PC stations, great seating areas and niches, dedicated kids and teen "hangouts" areas that are super cool, and a 24/7 drop chute for returning library materials (did you know that you can return any Library material at any Jacksonville Public Library Branch - and not stress to return it to the same Branch you checked it out from?)Also love love the fact that the Pablo Creek library branch has many meetings rooms that customers can reserve in advance by just calling in. I attended a homeowners association meeting attended by over 20 people in Meeting Room A - great meeting space with very nice and clean chairs and tables. The process for checking in and checking out via the Library Services counter is "easy button." Very easy to set up the chairs and tables as well as return the chairs to their original stacking trolleys. If you're looking for a really nice library with full service amenities, check out the Pablo Creek Branch!

The best part of the local network of libraries is that almost everything short of picking up and dropping off the books can be controlled through their website. The coolest part about using the online system is that you can renew books from the comfort of your home in your pajamas rockin that bed head hair we know you don't look good in. Hence, missing a trip to the library in time to get those books renewed in person... Oh, I wasn't talking about me. =) LolYou can request a book from a different branch to be sent to your branch. You can also reserve a book for them to hold as highlighted in Lindsay's review (#7) as well as put yourself on a waiting list so that they can hold a book for you when it becomes available. When it arrives, you are notified by email. Another little known feature of their website is the downloadable e-books section. Most of these are audiobooks, although some come with PDF files. The only thing that sucks is this library closes early on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, and it isn't open on Sundays.By the way, it's a library, so it's a given that it's FREE. Also, as mentioned in Lindsay's review, DVDs and CDs are also FREE to checkout. Just make sure to return all books, DVDs, and CDs on time and do not misplace your library card or it won't be so free after all. Lolz.

This is my favorite library in Jax. It's rarely crowded and is large enough to have plenty of nooks to read and relax in. They have public computers in case you need to get some work/research done. My favorite is the children's section. They offer weekly music/reading for toddlers. My kids always rent DVDs which is nice since there is no charge

The Pablo creek library is one of my faves! They have an excellent children's area complete with an amazing puppet theater, story time for children of all ages, a lot different reading incentives for the older kiddos, a lot of fun activities for the kiddos year round, and a super nice staff. The adult area is always well organized with a huge selection of books, CDs, magazines, and movies. When you walk into the library, to your left you can find the latest new release and most popular books. One of my most favorite features about our libraries in Jacksonville is the hold feature. If they don't have what you want or need at pablo creek, you can place a hold online and they will deliver it to the library of your choice, mine of course being Pablo creek. Or if you just can't go looking for books in person because you have a baby who doesn't quite know the rules of the library (me), you can look online and then use the hold feature, pick up your books and be in your merry way to the children's area.

Took Chyna to Jacksonville Public Library in Beach Blvd on Sunday afternoon. The Librarians were so helpful ! I could not believe how they showed her how to login to the website and look for books and put them on hold and how to find by genre or Author. We came home with six books ! She is so excited because they inly get to go to library at Neptune Beach Elementary every other week

I really like this little library. There was ample, friendly assistance to direct me to my destination on my first visit and this facility is really clean. (Unlike some other public libraries in the area) I attended several gatherings in the conference rooms here and thought the overhead lighting was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the library provided abundant seating for our group as well. The only negative aspect of this particular location is the parking lot. While there is plentiful parking, the lot is not lit very well. Keep this in mind if your preference is to study late into the evening. All and all the good points outweigh the poor lighting in the parking area. The staff is extremely helpful and this seems like a great spot to quietly study or meet up's in the conference rooms.
