Love coming to the library. So peaceful and getting ready to get more books for my bookworms. Such a nice place and my kids get to do games and other activities.

I love our local librarys- and I was at this location for a cub scout meeting that was being held in one of the meeting rooms. The room was spacious, library was busy outside the room- we just had to hustle to clean up to get out before they closed up. The bathrooms kinda needed better attention, but I think that was mainly because the facility is older. I'll be back again for more workshops with the kiddos. Thank you to the library for facilitating the cub scout pack!

The library is tucked away in a shaded and quite area off on San Jose blvd. It's been awhile since I've visited a public library and I was really impressed with this Mandarin branch. There's plenty of parking and easy to access. This library has been here for a long time but the building is well kept and clean. The front desk lady is so nice and friendly, she's always smiling at us when we enter every time. There's a section in the center where they display art works from elementary and middle school students that are so cute and artistic. My little one loves looking at these art work as he browses through the children books section. Story time at this branch for kids from birth to 5 years of age is so great for my little one. He also loves to play in the social area with other kids. They also get to do art and crafts after story time and get to bring home their creations every time. This program is so fun yet educational for kids of all ages.

This library has been here forever.....it is smaller and old, but it is comfortable and a great place to go search around. I like to go to this library compared to the newer South Mandarin branch. I went in recently to get a few books on tape for a long road trip, I ended up picking a great book I have been wanting to read also. They offer kids classes here sometimes you can just look on their bulletin boards and they should tell you about any things going on.

Great little library with a wonderful children's area and a decent sized teen fiction area... whaaaat??? I certainly don't read that Hunger Games/Twilight rubbish... I'm talking about my daughter Luna of course... really.... *cough* go Team Jacob!Anyway, My favorite feature of the library is their pretty advanced hold system. I love finding what I need online, placing it on hold, and picking it up in a nice stacked bundle just for me. You can even have it held for you at a location offsite that has 24 hour access. I've never had to utilize this feature, but it's nice to know it exists. There is a nice little entrance that has a couple benches where you can wait to be picked up.

I love this library. Lots of options and things to do. The staff is always helpful and smiling. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the noise. This place can be as loud as a them park at times. Folks watching movies on the computers(you can hear every word) kids not using their inside voices. So aside from that it's a great place to visit and check out. If you're trying to study or read, I'd recommend somewhere else.

This is the loudest library I've ever been to. It begins with the staff/volunteers - they set the tone. They're super helpful and friendly, but they talk to guests and each other like they're outdoors at a park, even shout at each other from across the room. As such, the various people working in the library ALSO carry on as if we're not all there trying to work as well. Taking phone calls and full on meetings at full volume, etc. We were beginning to think that libraries just didn't have a quiet culture anymore like they used to. Until we switched to South Mandarin. So much better, and certainly quiet and respectful to the patrons. I love using the library and this location is otherwise a really good one. But not friendly to people who are working or studying.
