I do love libraries! This library branch actually holds a place in my heart- years ago, I had a painting in a gallery showing at this branch. The reception night I made new friends! This visit was for early voting. My doctors office is a block away, so it made sense to vote here after my appointment. I was shocked at how busy it was and I was told it has been that busy all day, every day since they opened! And that one location had over 11k votes already cast and our County was sitting at 38% with registered voters in. I appreciate everything our local libraries do for our communities!

I love the library! It's a wonderful place that people have gotten away from appreciating! You can get lost in a book from any genre. Pick up a magazine and read it or use their computers. Find a place to sit and study or attend one of their free classes! It's a wealth of knowledge and information just waiting to be discovered!

Gotta give this place a review now that I am *officially* a member. Got my card yesterday at the super fun Harry Potter Yule Ball. This library is super clean, the staff have always been friendly and the events are so cool! For this Yule Ball they had 3D Printing activities where you could make Harry Potter glasses to take home (oh and btw they hold 3D printing classes for the community), a Fortune Teller, a DJ (shout out to local DJ Mario), costume contest, some freaking quittage non-beer pong. Lol so fun! There is a Scrabble Club, yoga classes, SAT/ACT Prep, guitar lessons, sewing lessons....everything you can think of! Great place, definitely a underutilized and underappreciated gem :)

I have always loved the library. Well not as a teenager when you had to be there for research. For a while I strayed to the Books a Millions with their coffee and muffins, but as the kid count grew and the budget dwindled, I rediscovered the Public Library. It is like your own custom book store. You can order any book from any branch, just need a little patience. I have even wheeled in, when near, for computer access to find a place or info, before web access on cell phones. But my favorite is still to explore. Just walk the isles till something jumps out at me. I have instilled this love in my girls too.The Beaches Branch has all this and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. While it is still the quiet of old, it is not that deafening silence anymore. There is a wonderful rhythm and movement now to libraries that don't make them so darn stale. The selection of books is good, the seating comfortable and the air conditioning working. Just know that they are open on Sunday's, but not in June and July. I guess because of the school break? Never asked....Bring your own coffee and you've got it made!

This library is awful. It is the most drab, depressing library I've ever been to. It reminds me of a detention center but with much less excitement. Most libraries have a warm, inviting feel. This one is the exact opposite. It almost makes me sick it's so gray. I could go on but you get the point. Can we get a fresh coat of paint and someone to arrange the shelves in a more interesting and inviting way?

Library is fantastic. Staff is super responsive to requests and questions. Moved up from Central Florida where libraries had fewer hours open, had less volumes and didn't try very hard to help a person. The ability to use the computer to search for something and then put a hold on it, as well as check when checked books are due etc. is so convenient. Love everything about how the Beaches Branch functions.

I used this library all the time for classics, new releases and reserving books. The automated check out system is quick and easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Neptune Beach public library is so perfect. It is like libraries are supposed to be. As a contemporary library Neptune Beach offers multiple computers, printing facilities, wonderful stacks, and best of all the staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient. I truly enjoy my weekly visits to the library...

The summer hours for this location should be updated with additional hours. A continuing appreciation for the library should be instilled in our youth even though they are able to look up facts on the internet. There is no replacement for the experiences of the public library. The Dewey Decimal System, the responsibility that's taught when borrowing a book and the excitement of going to the library will all fall by the wayside with the continuing shrinkage of funding for these institutions. During the summer it provides an inexpensive and fun activity for school-aged children. When the libraries are closed on Mondays and do not open until 1 PM the rest of the days, kids and adults alike are over it and onto other activities for the day.
