Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts

Took my granddaughters to see Peter Pan last night. I had forgotten what a great venue this is! Didn't buy any snacks, but the popcorn smelled & looked yummy! Ushers are always friendly & helpful. (Didn't realize there were 2 names, so posting here too)

We came here to see the Jacksonville Symphony Christmas concert during the day. We surprised our kiddo with the tickets. My husband had purchased them online.When we arrived in the theater from the security to the volunteers passing out programs, everyone was genuinely nice and friendly.I was excited to see we got balcony seats. When we got to our box, we had high bar stool seats (they had a back), but I found that a bit odd. They're not the most comfortable and my husband said when he booked the tickets it didn't show that type of seat.Other than that and the speaker right in front of our view, it was a great theatre.The bathrooms were super clean, the space and theatre were clean, the acoustics were wonderful, and the staff were lovely.

Surprised my girlfriend with tickets to the RnB invitation. I've never been here and was surprised at how nice everything looked. The ushers were quick and helped us find out seat. The show was amazing, no audio or sound problems, no problems getting in and out and three bathrooms are spacious. Only thing that was lacking was the concession stand. Just felt like there could have been better options. But overall a great experience.

I enjoy myself every time I go to the center. I only wish they hand cup holders on the seats.

Great show. We had great assistance to our seats. We will definitely be back. It's nice to have good shows visit Jax in a nice theater.

12/5/24. We saw The Temptations show where they acted and sang the life and times of the group. The performance was very polished and professional! Lot of high energy entertainment!

The Moran theater was fantastic. There was $10 parking not too far away, definitely with walking distance. Just a caution, in the winter months, it was extremely cold especially with the breeze blowing and being so close to the water downtown. However, still walkable. The employees were all very friendly. We watched the Nutcracker; the orchestra was amazing and the performers did fantastic. Our seats were very good from the second floor. We were seated in section 55D and E.

The Golden Girls was my reason to visit! I love everything about Jacksonville Center of Performing Arts. The Golden Girls was full of laughs and such a great show.

Beautiful space with a few different theatres for Broadway shows, the symphony, concerts or comedians. Plenty of bathrooms and concession stands. Beautiful view of the water out the back windows.

Went to see " The World of Dance & Talent on June 21, 2024. Even though I was thinking of a totally different performance this was money well spent!The talent was amazing and went on at least 4 hours. I know the dancers were exhausted, but they were so professional! This production consisted of local talent from a local Dance Academy, from age 3 and up. I so enjoyed my self! Upon entering the building your nose is hit by the smell of popcorn , and sugar-coated nuts, (yum)!Now I'm looking at the rest of the show line up for the rest of this season and next year! Season pass holder here I come!
