Great golf course with a nifty selection of hats available in the pro shop. Extremely sandy greens, guy in front of me must've been playing with a shovel and found every bunker. Cart gal makes a good transfusion. Would play again.

I recently went to a TaylorMade fitting at Jax Beach helped coordinated by Alex Long. The original date was moved, and Alex was sure to reach out and notify me of the change as well as getting another date and time set up. Afterwards Alex help facilitate the order from the specifications of the fitting. I just went to the Pro Shop to pick it and can't wait to take it for a spin. 10 out of 10 service.

Jax Beach Golf Club - the finest municipal golf in the greater beaches area.In all seriousness - it's probably like a 2.5 or 3 star course. It's not particularly scenic or challenging. Hole 2 is next to a water treatment plant for Christ's sake. The greens are touch-and-go, and the tee boxes intermittently look like shit."So Jerry," you might ask "why 4 stars?"Because it's cheap. And the people are great. Seriously - you can play 18 holes with a cart after noon on the weekends for like $31. There are $2 beers on the course every day for happy hour. I think it goes without saying that you won't have the same quality as TPC Sawgrass or World Golf Village, but you also won't be scolded for shotgunning a beer after you birdie #12. I think at this price point, it's more comparable to spending an afternoon in a bowling alley than at a country club. But you still get to enjoy the great outdoors on a golf cart for 4 hours. The guys at the pro shop have always been great. Starters and rangers are never rude. Cart girls are always friendly and easy to find. Also, shout-out to the guys making the food for this course ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/drive-n-dine-bar-and-grille-jacksonville-beach?hrid=Ur66ZnS7mfmOsMkPoFjelA&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) ) The chicken salad is addictive, and this restaurant could probably stand alone outside of the golf course. If you come in with reasonable expectations, I think you will have a good time here.

The Jax Bch Golf Club has been around for years. AND has been enjoyed by locals for years. For those of us that play the game (or think we can) and can't afford the higher priced clubs in Ponte Vedre, this is where you will find us. It was updated in 2009 and has never been better. They also have a driving range, 2 Putting greens, Bunker and Short Game Area. They offer the FUNdamental Golf School for us adults and a summer program for our kids. Tiger golf lessons is for our youngsters 7 - 10yr and Palmer golf is for the 10- 17yr range. If you register to participate in their eClub, you will receive a free green fee on your Birthday! Valid up to one week prior and one week after your birthday. Now that's what I am talking about! Free golf and the opportunity to learn about all the specials as they are unfolding instead of hearing from a buddy a week to late!In the Pro Shop they carry Titleist, Adams, PING, Nike, and many more. If you don't see what you are looking for they offer a special order service to members & guests. I am glad to see Jax Bch still offering and improving this amenity to its residents instead of building over it!

I liked it....NOT a Golf Digest 4 star course....but I'm not a scratch golfer....To a Midwest guy, it's what hacker golf in Florida should be - some palm trees, lots of water...cheap beer, and sunshine - all you need for a fun afternoon. Some rough spots on the course (move your ball to a patch of grass, we're not on tour), greens rough and slow. BUT a fun day - I usually go South to play (South Hampton or St. John's) - but this is a fun, different "vibe" - great place to relax and not stress....not at all "stuffy"

The course is brilliant. However, the starter was very rude to start off our experience. We played on a Friday afternoon. I did not get his name. But if I did I would have, I would have reported him for his arrogance. He did not give us a welcoming vibe. They over book tee times. However, the course was great and i would come back for the shape of the course.

Great track. Terrible customer service or care for the health of players. Not a word on the website about COVID protocols. Drove 45 minutes to play as a single (had a tee-time) and was told I HAD to ride in a cart with a complete stranger because the course policy is max of 2 carts per group. Couldn't pay more money, no exceptions. Not only an unacceptable policy during a pandemic, and completely different from other course's current guidelines "requiring a separate cart for players not of the same household" -- but to not even mention a word of it on the site is pretty ridiculous. Nice course, but they should feel ashamed of the way they are handling players who have real health concerns. I won't be back -- and you shouldn't go either if you don't want to be 2 feet from a stranger for 4 hours.

Loved playing this course. Carts have very accurate distance finder and the carts are in fantastic shape and ride SMOOOTH.The course is extremely fair while presenting some challenges, but also opportunities to score. Loved hole 17.The staff in the side bar was great. Food was solid for a golf course and the staff was extremely helpful. I'll play this course again. One other note.... Mitch summed it up very nicely. Salty Ocean Breeze. It was outstanding.
