Island Fin Poke

Can't say enough good things about this place. We probably come here at least once a week. Located in front of beachwalk, this place has fresh food, friendly staff, exceptional customer service and a relaxed environment with indoor/outdoor seating. The owner is incredible. You find him in store often. We always try different combinations of bowls and are happy with the results every time. Wonderful flavors with all the sauces and seasonings/toppings. My favorite is the spicy tuna.

Tried island fin last night, place is fantastic. Chose the build your own bowl option, and loved the amount of options/choices you have when doing so. You get three scoops of protein (I went double protein), plus your choice of base, and then a ton of options for toppings (most of which are included). There are a few add-ons that cost extra (like avocado), but that's pretty standard. The 2 girls working were very nice, a bit inexperienced, but didn't take away from the place at all. Met Seth, not sure if he's the manager or owner, but he was super friendly and explained everything.If you like poke, you'll love this place. If you've never had it, I highly recommended giving it a try!

First time visit last night - loved it!Menu was easy to follow from build your own to recipe ideas. Ingredients were laid out in front of us and labeled. The staff were super helpful explaining everything since it was our first time dining here. We were impressed that they even brought our bowls to our seats! Fresh ingredients with lots of options made for yummy bowls! Everything was perfect! We will go back for sure!

I decided to give Island Fin Poke a whirl yesterday because I was hungry and could order ahead. I went onto their website and ordered their Korean Barbeque Bowl with white rice, tagarushi, kimchi, scallions, corn no sweet onion, Pickled veggies on the side, and an extra side of tagarushi and a side of ponzu. Based on the photos online, their bowls looked pretty substantial, so I was excited to try it. I decided to order pickup, but placed my order online.In less then the 10 minutes it took to get there, the bowl was ready and I was handed my order. I broke a real rule when you order pickup: check your oder.When I got home, opened the bag and pulled out my bowl, I noticed that it looked like there were 5 pieces of chicken, no corn, and just white rice, and I had a cup of the veggies on the side, as for the kimchi, corn, tagarushi, scallions, they were nowhere to be found. This is a sad face moment. I didn't have the option of heading back up there to exchange my order, so I ate it anyway.First the good, the flavors were good. The chicken tasted sweet and savory, the rice was sticky, so two thumbs up on that. I was sad that the other items weren't in the bowl and for $11, I expected more.I will chalk it up to just opening, since I don't even think they've been open a month, and they may be getting their feet wet.The next time I stop by, I'll be sure to check my order carefully.

This was the first time my wife and I tried Poke Bowl. Tried to order on line but was having issues, called the store and the owner took our order and said he would personally deliver. Great service and the food was awesome. We were visiting for the week but when we're there again they are getting another order from us. Thanks for the great service.

I absolutely love this place! I've only placed orders on the app, and they are always ready when I get there. The prices are great, and the food is fresh and delicious. The ahi tuna bowl is what is in the picture, and I also love the regular ahi tuna bowl. My 6 year old with special needs even loves the kids chicken bowl!

Really loved this poke bowl! I found this hot and new business on Yelp, and stopped in on their 4th day of being open. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff was! This brand new building is right next to Burger Fi and has a large parking lot. It is located in the Beachwalk community on 210. Love seeing so many great things going in this new area! I got in line and looked at the menu. I decided to go with a build your own bowl which basically had unlimited toppings for only $14. My usual order at a nearby spot in Jacksonville is usually about $18. I chose half brown rice and half lettuce. The woman working asked if I wanted seasoning on my rice. Nice touch! I love when they include the furikake on a chirashi bowl. I ordered half salmon and half tuna, and was impressed that they have octopus as an option. I added a bunch of veggies and went with the other employees sauce recommendation. I liked that they had spicy and regular pickled veggies as an option. I also liked seeing pineapple, mango, and mixed pineapple mango salsa as an option. I eat poke bowls often and still had a couple questions, so I imagine they are super prepared to explain this menu item to people that have never tried one before. They also had specialty bowls on the menu that were really reasonably priced. I sat near the window and enjoyed my bowl. There is not a whole lot of seating in the small space, but there were enough seats for everyone on my visit. They brought around samples of the dole whip for people to try, and it was delicious. I will definitely be back here again.

This place is excellent! We tried it for the first time tonight. We tried the signature spicy tuna bowl and also a build your own bowl. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful plus you can't beat these prices. My spicy tuna bowl was only $11. Service was top notch. The management/owner was so friendly. We also sampled the dole whip soft serve and this stuff is better than Disney's (we are avid Disney park attendees). There's nothing I can say to improve upon. If you like fresh and flavorful and especially if you like Poke, go try this place!

Love this place! Finally a fast food that is healthy! We live close enough that we can jump in the golf cart and be there in a few minutes. Food is always fresh, tasty and delicious. The owner is on premesis and always checking to make sure your satisfied. Prices are very reasonable for what you receive! Decorated to reflect several high schools in Saint Johns County. Highly recommend! Youwon't be disappointed!!

First time trying a Poké bowl and love it! Lots of options to choose from and great dole whip.
