Plenty of parking in the rear. Nice ambiance for a warehouse type building. Service was good. I had Tallarines de Camarons and my wife had tacos. Wow, the food was delicious. The chips and two different salsas were good too. I would definitely eat there again.

I've been to this location twice now for lunch on a weekday and it's just not as good as the original at the beach. Here's why:1- Service was quite slow both times. Last time we were seated right away but to order and get the check took forever and it was not busy at lunch hour. This time, we waited 2 minutes at the door for someone to come greet us despite the whole place being pretty empty again. Once we did get greeted it was another 4-5 minutes wait to be seated.2-The menu this time is much different than the beaches and both the veggie taco options were dropped. Super unfortunate as the fried green tomato taco was bomb. I had a beet salad which was delicious and beautifully presented (and now includes greens-yay!), but I didn't see any vegetarian taco options and the only other veg lunch (non salad) meal I noticed was a "rice bowl" tapping in at almost $20. The prices for lunch are really steep.3- Nobody working had that cheerful southern attitude I've come accustomed to in the area. Pros-The ambiance is nice, the place is big inside, and the patio looks beautiful. Being a little off the beaten path parking isn't troublesome.

Wow! I've always heard great reviews of this spot but hadn't tried it until my boyfriend made a reservation before seeing a show downtown. The margaritas, chips/salsa, apps, and entrees were 11/10! I usually don't prefer green over red salsa but this one was so fresh and delicious with a little kick.We started with ordering the crispy pork belly which was accompanied by a dollop on guacamole on each piece. The pork was crispy as advertised and the portion was great for sharing between 2 people. Generally I order tacos but was in a steak mood and am so glad I was. I ordered the ribeye medium rare which came with truffle grits and brussel sprouts. I would order this again and again and again. This dish was delicious, the steak was tender, the grits were creamy, and the Brussels were nice and tangy with pickled onions. If you like steak, I highly recommend this dish. I want to go back now just thinking about it. The restaurant is nice, we sat inside but I believe they have an outdoor option as well. The service was great as everyone was attentive, things came out within a reasonable time, and were crafted well. I'd recommend making a reservation even if it's a bit of a drive, it will not disappoint!

Started off our meals with the tableside guacamole and queso blanco. Everything was super fresh and the seasoning on their tortilla chips was delicious. I ordered the pork belly taco and the junkyard taco. The inclusion of watermelon on the pork taco had me a little nervous but intrigued. Let me tell you, the sweetness of the watermelon had that little piggy singing a tune my tongue just couldn't resist. The junkyard taco was good, but just didn't have enough complexity to make me take notice like I did with the pork belly taco. Our waitress Britany was attentive and made sure that our glasses never sat empty for long. Overall it was a very good dining experience.

I overheard the menu recently changed. I also heard through a former employee that Iquana is trying to compete and the owner of Iquana is also the owner of V pizza. Menu is kind of limited. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was sour. I was not use to this taste. Wifey had an island remedy which you liked. Etone was just corn off the cob with cheese. It was different. Wifey had the chicken soup which was amazing. The pictures below will deceive you. Wifey loved her anniversary diner while I was not a fan of Iquana at all. It is overrated and should revert back to the old menu. When in doubt for true mexican food go to a food truck and bypass Iquanas. It is just not worth the trip!

I went to iguana last light for my 3rd time! The food was really good. Some how they have the best guacamole that will change your life ! The tacos were delicious per usual ! We also loved the house marg ! It's a very romantic spot , dark lighting! They have heaters outside and fire pits ! The service was very slow for no one being there but we enjoyed our time !

Iguana on Park is a nice concept, not quite authentic Mexican or Tex Mex but the flavors of the food are good and unique! I have never had a bad experience here and of course the margaritas/drinks are amazing! There are many options for vegetarians and the salsa that comes out with the chips definitely adds a nice touch! The queso app is served with a side of flour tortillas which I love because it gives it a little bit of a different flavor profile than just having it with tortilla chips. I did not get any pics of my tacos but I had the farm to table taco which was good but not something i would go for all the time, and the dirty south taco which is definitely a favorite of mine with that black eyed peaco de gallo! The location of this restaurant is perfect and you can tell that there are regulars that visit often, and the service is always top notch!

I have really been enjoying this spot! My preferred seating is outside (always) specifically the road side. The ambience is nice! An array of tequila choices served neat, on the rocks or as cocktails (tequila is not all they offer of course). Our absolute favorite menu choice is the Steak taco. It's truly something special. Ladies and gentleman, we come far and wide for this taco. It stands on its own so please do not ever think of removing this item or sadly we will no longer be able to dine at IOP or FI. Just kidding, not really. The queso with beef rings or chorizo served fonduta style is another recommended item (if you're asking). Can't go wrong!

Attention to front of the house cleanliness is an issue. I understand it, lots of sugary margaritas probably get spilled here, but you should clean the menus, so they don't stick to the arms of the next customer. The tabletops also need maintenance. The resin coating is starting to peel and come up in clumps, which were also quite sticky.Service was very slow. We were a good way thru our basket of chips before a round of drinks arrived. This on a weeknight when there were maybe six tables filled. Speaking of cocktails, they were ok, nothing special but not bad. For appetizers, we ordered the queso blanco dip, which was on the bland side, but the empanadas were a hit. Interesting take as they are formed using puff pastry. Very different and flavorful from the chorizo cubes inside and the roasted poblano puree surrounding them. For entrees, mi amante duradera ordered the Peruvian steak bowl while I chose the Caribbean shrimp bowl. Both were heavy, rich in flavor but needed a little something to break it up a bit. The pickled onions were making an effort but just couldn't get the job done. Perhaps if there were a bit more white rice included it would help.

Stopped by for brunch as I was looking at a house in the neighborhood. A quick search showed good ratings, so I talked those with me in to stopping. The food and service was fantastic. Also ordered the guacamole and chips/salsa. All items were excellent. We sat outside on the patio and it was nice and quiet on a warm February day. Will definitely return on my next trip.
