Sad they are now closed-hoping someone purchases the recipes and continues on. I hate that yelp requires a certain amount of characters LOL!

I'm bummed I havent been to Hyperion Brewery before! I really liked everything about it- the beer, the vibe, the outdoor patio, and of course the sweetest brewery pup Sky! I enjoyed the Blood Orange Blonde Selene Citrine, and the Teaches of Peaches. I clearly like lighter fruitier beers, and I loved both equally! If I I had to pick one as a fav i guess I'd choose the Teaches of Peaches purely because it was chuggable lol. Plenty of comfortable indoor seating & games to play, and the outdoor covered patio/ beer garden was so pretty! Even in a downpour we could have stayed dry out there. Since it was such a rainy day the brewery wasnt too crowded and it was easy to get drinks. They do offer beer flights as well. I'll def be back!

Hubby and I were looking for a brewery to hit up before a concert. We ended up at Hyperion and it was exactly what we wanted! We walked in and ordered at the bar. The bartender was friendly, polite and speedy.I decided on a PB Porter and hubby had the Amber. Both were very tasty. We enjoyed them outside in their beer garden. I really loved the laid-back vibe out there! We will definitely be back!

This place had a great vibe to it when we walked in. The beertender was super friendly and great to talk to, crazy enough that during our conversation she told us that the owners were also from Michigan, Kalamazoo, which is my hometown. That is just crazy to me. After a little while of drinking of beers, one of the owners came over to talk to us and not only did we talk about him being from Kalamazoo but he also went to my small high school... just a few years after me. Ok okay, he was in elementary when I graduated but how cool is that. This is such a small world. Aside from the service being great, so was the beer. Ben really loved their number 1 seller, which is a blood orange beer and he almost didn't get it but the beertender talked him into it and he was very happy that he listened to her. It drink more like there was grapefruit in it actually.

Fun atmosphere ! The back patio is great! Tried the Selene sunrise which is a blend of the Selene citrine (blood orange blonde) and ace pineapple cider! Beautiful color and the right amount of sweet with the pineapple and orange!

I'm not a beer drinker, but we stopped here while bar hopping in Springfield because my husband likes beer. I love this place!! They have puzzles!!! I completed the frame of a community puzzle! How fun! They also have games and cards/card games to play. And the outside bier garden is really cool and nice with yard games, tables, great foliage, etc. The women's restroom had a full length mirror with dry erase markers for writing positive messages! Who doesn't need that little boost of confidence/inspiration?! Even if you aren't really a beer drinker, I definitely recommend stopping here!

When I was in Jacksonville a while I ago, I made my way to a few of the breweries in the Jacksonville area. One of these was the glorious Hyperion Brewing Company. The brewery had vinyl and beers that was a plus. But I will admit that I only bought beers and no vinyl because a person needs to have their priorities in check. Hyperion was a 10-minute walk from the Airbnb at where we stayed on our glorious journey. This location allowed us when we did go brewery hoppy to stagger drunkenly back to our place of stay without worrying about much at all except getting our crawlers back safely for the sake of Bacondom. I really enjoyed their bar where I did a couple of flights of beers that they produce and felt joyous and victorious. The Selene Citrine had a tart and citrusy palate, with a nice body and color. Phoebe's PB had a nice maltiness and smooth mouthfeel, with definite peanut butter nodes that was easy to drink and very enjoyable. Specifically, I loved the Coconut Coffee Brown Al that was magical, filled with sweet caramel, a little cocoa, and coconut. Full of happiness and unicorns it was. When I return to Jacksonville, I will return to Hyperion. This is a good brewery full of happiness and warmth. Warmth and happiness. Unicorns frolicking over the horizon because unicorns.

Located just north of downtown Jax in the Springfield neighborhood, Hyperion is a good -sized location with a large corner bar, hightop and regular tables, and a few stuffed chairs and sofas to sit at. No prepared food is served but there are cheese plates, chips, etc available. Some nearby restaurants can provide some hot food. There are a number of large TVs around to watch football and board games too. Hyperion offer a number of their own taps plus outside taps from local and national companies like Swamp Head and Founders. We got the giant Sampler for Two that offered 5oz pours of all 15 taps. That's a lot of beer! All were good but there were a few that stood out. The Blood Orange Blonde had a nice citrus bite. Phoebe's PB Peanut Butter Porter really does have a peanut buttery finish; like a liquid Reece's cup. My favorite was Minshew's Mafia Golden Ale, named after the Jaguars' quarterback. It's not often you are served a teal blue beer!

Small establishment but is very nice. We were on the outside patio is was hot but a nice spot for an event. Beer, wine and other good drinks. Was here for my friend who is running for the Florida House. There was room for about 40 to 50 people on the patio.
