Hoptinger Bier Garden & Sausage House

In town for the Florida/Georgia game and went to Hoptinger's for their variety of beers & food.Our server, Sagin was very nice & was helpful in getting us our food & beverage quickly I had the Chicago Dog & my wife had a salad with grilled salmon. Both items were served like a typical gastro pub, mine on a steel style tray & the salad in a white bowl.There is plenty of seating & their selection of beers is vast. I would say it has a good vibe of an overall pub feel. I would say this is a solid 4 stars.

Not really even sure where to leave review bc the location of rooftop and restaurant have different hours. But this by far the worst rooftop bar I've ever been too. Bartender terrible / drinks horrible / Music unbearable Was here 5years ago this place has tanked !!! Stay clear and let the roof top close so we can get new bar in that knows what they are doing In mean time go to Birdies !!!

Shoutout to my server who's name I completely forgot but she had the bartender make me a delicious sangria from the brunch menu and let me tell you it was the winner for the whole night . When it comes to the food, it's just plain bar food. The nachos definitely needed a little bit more love when it comes to melted cheese, I mean it's nachos after all so let's make is cheesy, so heads up I would just order side of cheese . They have chicken, beef, and pull pork if you want to add protein. The wings weren't bad, the buffalo sauce has a nice kick of spiciness. The bang bang shrimp we chose to have tossed in buffalo sauce. Overall it wasn't bad but like it said it's bar food. The service was good and attentive for a Saturday evening. That sangria is the reason I will be back .

Best salad for its price in Jax!$15 salad with at least a 8oz salmon that was marinated and grilled perfectly.The avacado, cherrie tomatos and feta cheese were chefs kiss as it all blended perfectly.I was full and revitalized with plenty of energy after that healthy and satiating choice. Callen our server, Mia the food runner, and Leah the bartender were all sweethearts and took good care of us.I'll def be back every weekend just for that salad!!The triple H's of Five points really hold down that area and you can't go wrong between:1. Hoptinger2. Hawker's3. Hovan Mediterranean

Came for some pre lunch beers after a walk on the beach. Asked for a West Coast IPA, bartender gave me a NE IPA. He made up for it with some interesting tasters.

It's vibey in here! A nice, mixed crowd and no wait for a table. Service was standard and the food was good. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering, especially for our party of 10. I ordered the hopsliders, which came with a fried chicken slider, beef with bacon slider, and chorizo slider. They were tasty, and filling. I also tasted the beer battered fried shrimp, which was crisp to perfection and had a homemade tartar sauce to go with it. The wet lemon pepper wings were a nice big size and tasty as well. For dessert, we had a warm chocolate lava cake with some vanilla ice cream, which was so rich and sweet. The restaurant is surrounded by other bars and restaurants, and parking might be a bit of a wait on a busy weekend night. We noticed a line of people start to form around 10-11 to go to the upstairs bar/club. There are other bars in the area, so if you're looking for dinner and a night of dancing this place and area might be good for you. I would recommend this place if you're wanting a yummy bite and some drinks before a night out.

We stopped in here after a wonderful day of celebrating a friend's birthday. Some of the group are from Michigan so wanted to watch the game while enjoying a beverage. We opted for a few appetizers to share as well.Appetizers were good, your typical fried bar food, but the dips were really tasty. I enjoyed the fried cauliflower and corn nuggets the most! (Who doesn't love fried food!)First, they had an Autumn Sangria which 3 of us tried. It was a red blended sangria with a cinnamon stick & cranberries. It was very tasty! I then tried a Peach Cider that our server recommended. It was very good.After the game we decided to check out the rooftop area.. What a beautiful space. Large bar area and plenty of seating all around the rooftop. And a spectacular view, especially at sunset.

The atmosphere at Hoptinger is outstanding. Inside is welcoming with strong wood and metal accents. There is a casual feel with a definitive hint of an upscale sports bar. The service was quick and excellent and because of our timing we had a choice of both their brunch and regular menu. The brunch menu looked good but I chose the fish and chips. Good fries, could have been a bit crispier but seasoned well. Great tartar sauce and ketchup. The fish was decent as well, but likewise could have been slightly crispier. If you like beer, and I do, they have a massive selection of beer (IPAs/Ales etc.) and drinks. Great Happy Hour specials and a deck that is THE spot to hang out in Five Points. This may be the best beer spot in the area. Just a great place to hang out to see a game and meet with friends. I wish I took more pictures of the interior but I'll include that next time because I will be back. Couldn't quite go to 5 stars here because the food while solid, didn't blow me away. This is a 4.5 but I can't do half stars. Maybe on my return trip as I try more of their menu and beer selection.

This was our first time here. Its was too cold to go to the rooftop and the stairs looked alittle steep. We sat on the 1st floor and our server was Alissa she was very helpful & friendly. My husband got the sausage roulette I have no idea why because he is so picky but he liked it.l thank God. It tasted to me like chilli dog but an amazing chilli dog and I got the Chicago dog and I absolutely loved it. The fries cannot be beat. They didn't offer sweet red wine on menu which is what I drink but the bartender made me a real sangria from wine and not a cocktail style sangria his name was Justin and it was amazing. I really hate the cocktail sangrias so this was great that he made that for me it's not on the menu. I found the service excellent and the food equally as good. We have only been to this part of town once before so we are trying new places out. The atmosphere is great it's a little loud for my taste I like to talk to the people I'mWith and yell Accross the table so do your talking in the car on the way here. I highly recommend this place fun & delicious.

Great service, numerous beer options, and tasty entrees. We will be back to try more things on the menu.
