Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville Beach

A very nice place to stay. Staff was great, check in and out easy peasy. The room was very nice and had a giant tv. Parking was plentiful. We love that it is pet friendly as we had to bring our small dog with us.

The staff at the front desk at check in: Wow!! Super friendly and very!! professional! I was super impressed. 5 stars!!!! The hotel looks nice and I liked our room when we walked in. When I looked closer - I wasn't so impressed. Our room was not clean. Green buggers stuck right next to the wall by the sink, the bed frame totally dusty. The worst of all was: There was a really awful looking larger body fluid looking stain on the bed. My husband started to cleaned up the wall by the sink - but ugh!!! Hello? We paid quite a few bucks and shouldn't have to clean up upon arrival. I called the front desk since we where so grossed out and asked for a new room. The front desk staff again - super nice - gave us a new room immediately. Our second room was much much! better. And it was thankfully clean! The hotel is about 9 blocks from the beach. Even tho we could have walked it- We opted to drive to the beach since it was quite hot outside. A huge public parking lot is located right in front of the beach. For all pet lovers: The hotel is pet friendly and you can bring your pup. Breakfast included in your stay.

They had us all at the end of the hall from the elevator. Buffet breakfast was great and service was very good. I asked for a balcony, but they did not have any. Was told they did. Room was very clean, but only had a walk in shower.

An organization I'm associated with had an annual event at Jacksonville Beach that includes 2 night time events and one early morning event. Even though I live in Jacksonville I decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express to spend more time having fun and less time driving.The hotel is right off Beach blvd and surrounded by restaurants and other cool things to do and see. Checkin was smooth and when I entered the room my first thought was the queen beds looked extra big. When I slept on one it was super comfy too.What truly impressed me was the bathroom! How cool was it to have a standalone shower in the bathroom! The water pressure was perfect and they had the hair shampoo and body lotion in pumps on the side.Of course there's free breakfast and they have the good yogurt Even though it's not on the beach it's really close and worth the $$$.

Very surprised by the Holiday Inn Express. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room prices were well within my budget given how close it is to the beach..

Highly recommended.We love the IHG® brand and are platinum elite IHG members. Some IHG hotels are terrific, some Ookay, and some of them are poor in terms of quality. This one is terrific. The property inside and out is clean and modern. Service at the front desk is excellent. Service at the breakfast bar in the mornings efficient, friendly, with fresh offerings. The room was clean. All in all a great experience. This is Hotel we will return to over and over again.

Booked last minute for a family emergency and they were very accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the room smelled a little weird but the bed and pillows were super soft and comfortable. It was within minutes to a few fast food restaurants and not far from where we needed to be. Breakfast was included and decent. Front desk staff were super sweet and welcoming. I'd definitely return if ever in Jacksonville.

Stayed for 6 nights here recently. This HIE was quiet and clean. Housekeepers did a great job. We enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of options. Dining area was kept spotless. The staff was very friendly and always greeted with a hello and welcome back. I would definitely stay here again!

I had the best experience here, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The first contact was beyond pleasant. The breakfast was good, the room was super clean and the amenities were awesome as well.I will definitely return for a great time in Jacksonville, thank you for such great hospitality!

As a business traveler I like to frequent the same stops, This HIE is close to the beach and restaurants, the property is very well maintained and has plenty of parking lot lighting for security. I have never had a problem here. Carmen provided five star service at check in and was very helpful. The morning breakfast host is the "best of the best". Her breakfast are is always clean, well stocked with breakfast items, and she is very helpful for special requests AND she has the biggest, brightest, happy smile. It is always a great start to my day when I see her. Thanks Ladies for doing a fantastic job!!
