Wonderful food in a diner atmosphere. Tons of choices and everything was delicious We had an omelette with grits and sourdough toast, 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy (one full biscuit) home fries and one side egg. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely do again and recommend

Here is the good and the bad about this restaurant from my point of view and personal experience visiting St Augustine with little kids. Do I recommend it? Sure, it's not a bad option but also not the best. The service was not that great and it seems like they need more help to run the place but it's a mom and pops so there goes that. The food wasn't bad, we tried the Big Bubba , one with grits and one with Fries, it tasted good either way. When I asked for a cappuccino I was expecting something home made, then I saw my server just picking an option out of the machine just like you can do at Fresh Market so there goes that. (wouldn't order coffee here) . Our toddler had the scrambled eggs with fries and sausage party and it was alright.Fair warning...They are not toddler friendly at all, so if you have kids and a stroller.... Good luck! Otherwise you are good to go here and wait outside to be seated. I was lucky that there was an empty table at the end and had to fold the stroller and put all bags on the floor as they offer me no option to put the stroller anywhere. The lady server was even bothered that I put the stroller next to the cooler but she was able to open the door as needed. (Only once during our meal here and it was because I asked for bottled waters to go) again, not great service. They took forever to even offer us some coffee and water and take our order and seem like they were purposely ignoring us and passing by our table while taking other orders. We were already sat down, stroller folded, toddler seating down, newborn on bassinet and bags on the floor so I wasn't about to get up. *** they don't have toddler seats*** Warning ‼ There is a big step when coming I and getting out and as we were getting in a lady with a walking stick fell down. The best thing about this place is the view of the bay that you get. They have a big mirror on the back that allows you to see the bay behind you or if you are seating forward then it's a nice view. Don't go here expecting great service and if you go with toddlers or little kids expect to sit them in your lap and if you take a small enough stroller then maybe you are good but not with the Uppa Baby Vista.

Went back to Harbor View this past Friday. It always feels like going to visit my favorite aunt. Everyone is so pleasant and attentive. The food always hits. This time I tried the Vegetable Omlette. It was delicious. As always the biscuits are impeccable. The potatoes good but i like them a bit crispier. Great coffee, great vibe. As always, a fantastic breakfast spot.

Happily surprised to walk right in with no wait on a Friday morning. Service was fantastic and they have a great selection of regular menu items and specials. I chose the veggie and cheese omelette with feta as my cheese choice. Potatoes and a biscuit as my sides. The omelette was big, filling of veggies and feta and cooked perfectly. Delicious and filling, it was exactly what I wanted. The extra large biscuit was crispy and buttery on the top and bottom with a soft and fluffy middle, again perfection. The potatoes were the only "okay" item on my plate. A strange mix of chunks and shredded potatoes that were seasoned well but not cooked enough. I prefer my potatoes a bit more crispy on the outside, with a nice crunch. Overall, excellent food, cozy place and the best service. Location is great too, right I. The heart of all there is to do in the old city, right along the Bayfront.

Been walking by here for years and never stopped in. Usually because there was a line. Little place inside and pretty busy. Lots of choices for lunch and dinner with some local favs. I ordered the Monterey sandwich which had chicken and ham on it. Brioche bun and the fixings made for a nice bite. Deb tried the chicken and potato salads. Both were really good. Service was quick and food came out in a reasonable time. Place seems to walk the line of a local place and a tourist place pretty well.

The family and I stopped at Harbor View Café after I read several Yelp reviews saying this place was great.I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with fresh fruit, à la carte - a bagel, and an egg, with cream cheese. I ate the whole thing, and it was delicious. My family was very hungry. Going into the breakfast and I can say there weren't many crumbs left on the table. The location is perfect right on the main road next to the water. Food: 9.0 - solid overall! Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and didn't have anything bad to say6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after trying once

A++++++++ very tiny place. Even their bathrooms are tiny. But what they lack in space they make up with TASTE!!!! Ive never had a waffle I havent needed to out syrup on. It was soooo tasty. You MUST have their fruit bowl. Definitely a side to share for 2-3 or even 4 people. I felt like royaltyz my family went on a coffee binge at this place. Compared to all the other breakfast places we went to, this place had perfected the coffee game. The service was spectacular and charming. Ilwe felt like family when we there. I have absolutely no cons.Tip: get there early.....they open at 7am. They have a sign that says not Public restrooms so some people sent some family to use the restroom away from the restaurant. Their name was called and the whole family wasnt there. So they couldnt be seated and had to wait longer. The bathroom sign is for people walking by.....but the worker said that if you are waiting to be seated you can use the restroom. Just keepIn mind its small and right next to tables

"Breakfast is a morning's worth of mood insurance." - Amy Krouse RosenthalThere is a lot to like about this quaint little gem tucked into the harbor and a few things that were downright peculiar which after contemplating I have decided added to the experience. The visible scars of transformation through the years; where outdated meets modern radiates an interesting energy. My wife and I grabbed a table in the back to take it all in. An abundance of beautiful local artwork lined the walls and it's for sale. I LOVE this! It shows support for the local art scene and shines light on who the owners are. Also on the walls are pictures of some of their food options with a menu description, they seem proud to serve "Jimmy Dean" sausage (peculiar) but hey, the food is great, let's talk about that a bit:I ordered the signature Benny, as an executive chef here is what I was looking for. Correctly cooked eggs that gush out the yolk when you spear one of them with the side of your fork. Check. An ample amount of Correctly made Hollandaise sauce that has some acidity to cut the fat of said delicious yolk. Check. A biscuit or muffin preferably griddled as the foundation of the dish. Check. Thinly sliced ham that Is easy to cut through so that you are not battling with it to stay in place the entire time. Check. Potatoes a mix of reds and hash. A bit peculiar but it was done well. I found my self tapping my toes to the Elton John song playing in the back of my mind. "Benny, Benny, Benny" for the win. My wife had the waffles with scrambled eggs and bacon. I knew full well that I would get to snare the bacon from her plate when she asked me if she should get that or the "Jimmy Dean" as her meat option . Muy yum! Don't feel bad for her I lost at least half a Benny in the exchange, but the bacon was good. The scrambled eggs were correct (no color) and the waffle was great, a bit on the sweet side. This place is small, get here early for a table. Enjoy the vibe, and please, stay a little strange. Our world simply needs this type of variety. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back
