Happy Taco Feliz

Great flavor. Tons of meat in each taco. Made with lots of love. The only complaint is they have inconsistent hours to what their Facebook lists as their hours. Tried going back for more and haven't been able to bc they have not been opened. Can't wait to get their tacos again. The asada tacos and chorizo tacos are my fav.

This is my fav taco spot in Jax. I've brought multiple people here from out of town family and friends and recommend to locals every chance I get. I truly love their food. I know tacos are a personal preference kind of food and this is to my tastes. My usual order being 3 carnitas Mexican w/ mild salsa. Service varies but that's not a huge deal to me. I get it. It's got to be miserable in here w/ the heat. My issue they got a new truck and now there are no prices listed and I'm confused how 7 tacos cost $35 now when I usually get 3 for $12

The food is edible. The best taco was the chicken, I did not love the asada, and they were out of the carnitas,d did not love the chorizo burrito. The salsa was lovely but the red super spicy. I did love the corn tortillas. Overall fairly authentic but the meat was over cooked and it was not my favorite. The service was friendly and fast, the atmosphere typical but fine for taco truck.

Best tacos around. I thought it was a joke when my daughter pulled up here for lunch. The joke was on me, that food truck had the most amazing tacos ever. When I'm in Fernandina I will make the drive to these folks cause they do tacos right.

I have drove by this taco stand so many times on Main Street, but this was my first time stopping to try Happy Taco Feliz. I will say that I enjoyed the tacos, and they give a decent portion. There is a good variety of items to try including elote which was very nice to know.I will say the location may not be my favorite for eating outside, but it was fine for a to go order. Their service was nice, and the person who took my order was very friendly. The wait was short which is always a plus.

Happy Taco Feliz is a taco food trailer located in the parking lot of a small strip mall that has definitely seen better days. It would be easy to drive by here without even noticing it yet if it were not for the amount of vehicles parked around ans everyone waiting in line.It was a particularly cold day when I stopped by, downright freezing (ok, maybe not technically as it was only in the low forties) and had me hoping for the line to move fast and I could escape back to the warmth of my vehicle.I ordered three tacos, a steak, a chorizo and a lamb taco. They were delivered pretty quickly and I retreated back to the warmth of my vehicle where I promptly devoured my three tacos.Out of the three tacos, the chorizo taco was my favorite. The hot sauce they gave me was pretty exceptional, as well.The three tacos were about ten dollars and I would definitely recommend a visit to this food trailer.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos this is the place!!!! These are the best tacos I've had on the East coast! Birria tacos are only sold on Saturdays but so worth the weeks wait. We came here two days in a row and tried most of their tacos, everything was absolutely delicious!

Permanent food truck. Five star service. Five star food. I have to tell you that I was not expecting to enjoy this spot, but my son loves Mexican so I thought I would brave it for him. Guess what? I really loved it. First off, it is a food truck but it has a permanent location. Also, it is not a secret, When we went, there was a steady line of cars stopping and the line moved quickly. I asked a couple of people in line what their favorites were and the consensus was "EVERYTHING". On our trips we tried:Tacos Supreme-I had this as a veggie version, I was not overly thrilled but I realize I need to refine my order.Burritto-my son got this with steak and he was delighted. Quesadilla-another solid choice, my current favorite. Tacos Especial-another solid choice. One of the Hilo guys is really the number of meat options they offer. Standard options like pork, chicken and steak, but added items like lingua, Alhambra, sausage and a few other items i cannot remember. My idea is to find something you like and try different meat options. Or try different meats and find one you like, then try that meat in different dishes. Either way, you cannot go wrong. Parking is plentiful, but can be dicey with everyone coming and going. People are polite and will move if asked, so don't worry if someone pulls in behind you. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Really worth a try.

The name says it all. You'll get tacos and you'll be happy. Very happy.No crazy toppings, no hibachi show, just some good tacos for you to enjoy!

My first time and my last time. Food was decent, but the service wasn't pleasant. Came to the window feeling like I interrupted them, and kept getting stank looks. Getting judged on pronouncing the food was a nice touch too. Not a single hello, thank you, or any sort of positive human interaction. Just felt like a whiteboy being judged
