Hana Sushi

It was a fantastic experience; the food and the service were excellent. Super fresh-tasting and full-flavored. Looking forward to the next visit

We came in close to when they close to prep for dinner but they were quick to seated and serve us. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered our drinks and she said to let her know when we were ready to order. She stayed available and a soon as we were birth ready she came right over. We both ordered Poké bowls. I got the dynamite roll. My only complaint was that it needed more sauce because the rice was dry. My husband got the spicy tuna, but said it wasn't very spicy so they brought saratcha sauce out. We also got the tuna roll. That is by far the best sushi roll i have had! I am only giving a 4 based on the rice being dry, and the not spicy Tuna, but would easily give a 4.5 if there was that available!

Ordered takeout online. It was super fast and easy. My order was ready in about 15 minutes! The fish was really fresh and tasty. Rice was cooked well and roll stood up well to all the fillings! I had 2 rolls, the Snowman roll and the Sweetheart roll. Both was really good! The blue crab topping was a nice switch from the typical intimation crab topping.The indoor is on the smaller side but perfect for an easy weeknight meal or a casual weekend spot. Would definitely recommend for sushi if you are in the wild light area!

The mixed Asian menu appears well executed.I'm always hesitant to eat at places with menus that seem too diverse. Hana Sushi is mostly Japanese cuisine with a little Chinese, Thai, and Korean mixed in. I went straight to the sushi, and it was well executed. Im not from the area, but prices seem to be commensurate with the local economy or perhaps a little low for the tourism season. Bonus star for the orchid flower garnish!Green tea was a Japanese brand in a bag. The waiter kept tabs on my cup and offered more hot water when it got low. It was 5pm with just 1 waiter and 1 sushi chef. Both kept up with the dine-in and carry out orders.Hana Sushi offers a good selection and is conveniently located between I-95 and Fernandina Beach. It's in a strip mall, and parking seemed crowded with neighboring customers. A few handicapped parking spots are very close.Whether you want Japanese Hibachi, Chinese lomein, Thai Curry, or Kimchi, Hana is worth a stop.

First time at this restaurant. Ordered hibachi chicken with vegetables, beef with broccoli, chicken fried rice. Clean, good atmosphere and good menu selections. Food however, while not bad, just was not that flavorful. Consensus of all three in our party was 3 stars. Likely won't return. Your taste buds may disagree, so give them a try and see what you think.

We've been to this Sushi Restaurant 4 times over the last few months. I've never seen more than 7-8 customers dining when we dined there. The food is excellent, the fish is fresh and you order Japanese or Chinese style of cooking. They have a small staff, half are very friendly and provide excellent service. The other couple of employees seem distressed and don't interact well with customers. The prices are a little more than the competition, but as I said, the food is excellent and portions are hearty. The restaurant is pretty plain, tables and chairs for 100 and no real decorations. If you are hungry for good food, then come here, you won't be sorry.

I ordered the bang bang shrimp, snowman roll, salmon nigiri and yellowtail nigiri. The roll is definitely on the smaller side and the bang bang shrimp are jumbo shrimp cut in half before being fried. The fish was fresh and their coke is really sweet (in a good way). I did feel a little rushed in the end when I was handed a check before I was finished and I was thinking about getting dessert but oh well.

This is the second local from a place that has been called the best sushi on Amelia Island. The sushi was very good. We had 3 rolls. The giesha roll, pink roll and a yellow tail roll. The first 2 were really good. The yellowtail really had no flavor at all. This is typically my go to but I was really disappointed with this one. We also ordered clear soup. The flavor was OK but the onions tasted burnt, there were only a few mushrooms and no green onions at all. Overall the service was very good. Our drinks(tea) were refilled regularly and several servers checked on our table. 4 stars is really a strange rating for me. I really would have called it a 3 but I upped them for the except rolls.

Fresh sushi, nice staff. Rolls were kind of small but otherwise good. Just passing through town but would stop again to try something else.

Not a flashy sushi joint but it doesn't need to be. It looks like they do a ton of business with take out orders. The kitchen staff was hard working during our entire visit. We were seated immediately with drinks and food ordered. They have a menu that covers everyone's tastes. I personally judge by the squid salad when it's on the menu anywhere I go. I was not disappointed. There was effort put into the creation with a bed of cucumber strings and spring mix lettuce. And there was no shortage of squid. We're ordered 4 rolls. Salmon roll, spicy girl, Amelia roll, and the crazy roll. The spicy girl was the only let down as it was bland. The other rolls were amazing (the salmon roll was for the teenager that likes plain rolls). According to my husband, the restrooms were sparkling clean as was the restaurant itself. Our son commented on the paintings and now wants to decorate his room with the same art. Overall a great great great choice. We took a to-go menu since we know for sure we will be returning very soon.
