**This place only accepts cash payments, No cards or electronic forms of payment** Chicken was delicious, they're known for it. This is very much a dive, causal atmosphere... mainly locals. Service was good, waitresses are kind & check on the tables as a team effort. I ordered a burger but the bun seemed stale & just overall wasn't the best quality. Also tried two desserts.. a cherry pastry & banana pudding both were disappointing.. didn't end up finishing anything I ordered. Would recommend the chicken if you come here, just not a place I would go out of the way to eat at.

Fantastic fried chicken!! Even the liver and onions is another amazing entree. Secret local restaurant that has terrific food and service.

One of our favorites for fresh fried chicken. Much better than the Chicken Pantry was in Flagler. Wait staff are attentive and always friendly and make you feel like a regular. They fry your chicken to order so it's always hot and fresh. Old school diner ambiance with a very diverse customer base. You can sit at the counter or in a booth. Alot of Nascar drivers drop in during race week so that says something.

Larry has been wanting some good fried chicken so when we drove by we decided to get some to take home for dinner. As I walked to the door I saw the sign stating that they only accept cash. Fortunately today I had cash with me. The cashier was really nice and when I told her I hadn't been in before but wanted to order carry out she offered to let me take a menu to the car to read it over. We decided to get the 8 pieces bucket with 2 pint sides and rolls. We opted for all dark meat, which is often a little less expensive but it is the same price there which was fine. We chose mashed potatoes and cabbage as our sides. The mashed potatoes were not very warm and didn't taste like real mashed potatoes. The cabbage was fine. The breading on the chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly. The problem was there was not much meat on the pieces we had. Our overall impression was that it was just okay, certainly not the best we have eaten and we likely will not return.

Great food and great service. They serve fresh chicken which is the best. It's located right off of Mason Ave on Derbyshire Road.

The new owners continue to improve the appearance, specials, and offer a variety of menu options. I enjoy going whether by myself or with friends. Kim, Julie, Dianna, Danielle, Amanda, Denise, Carly, Jackie, Randy, and I know I am forgetting a few, are all dedicated to great service and if possible brightening a person's day. A customer is always welcome and treated as family. This is a great community restaurant for eat in or ordering to take home. Almost forgot my current favorites - meatloaf is just like I remember my grandmother cooking. I just tried their chicken, and it is also a remembrance of my childhood. Oh, and if you like a NASCAR theme, this is definitely a great place to go!

My wife and I eat here once or twice a month. They absolutely have the best fried chicken in the area I have experienced. The atmosphere is nice and our regular waitress Marney is always spot on. Definitely worth the price and trip

They are known for their chicken. Been here plenty of times and have never been disappointed. The servers are always friendly and do a great job.

Real southern cooking at its best. Cheap decor but who cares when the food is so damn good and reasonable. Bring cash as they've never taken cards. The fried chicken is, hands down, the best I've had.
