Halal China Box

This as my first time eating here since they've had new management. All I know is that it's in the Beach Blvd area but closer to Barnes Rd. I Yelped where I could find Korean chicken and this place came up. Portions were large and the honey chicken sauce was amazing. Inside is small but there are always families eating with kids. Friendly staff and wait was about 10-15 minutes . Ambiance is very family friendly, I believe they're Arabic. Price was less than $10. Great dealI went back a few days later for seconds!!

Got takeout one night and oh boy - the old oil smell was absolutely awful. All the fried/oily food we got smelled and tasted the same. This included the lo mein, egg roll (which was complementary), General Tsos and the fried rice. The only thing that made any sort of consolation was the Mongolian beef - the meat was actually tender.

Consistently delicious Chinese takeout with higher standards than your typical takeout place since they only serve Halal meat. Service is always very friendly and food is prepared to order very quickly. Their vegetables are always good very well and retain a nice crisp to them rather than being overcooked. I typically get their hot and sour soup which comes in a large container and then try a different entree each time.

OMG good Chinese/Asian inspired food in Jax! Yes! Stopped here on my way back to Yulee after visiting the international market-highly recommended! Now this place -I ordered 2 lunch menu itemsGen Taos chicken & sweet and sour chickenThe sweet and sour was tasty and your standard Sweet and Sour - very good The Gen Taos will light your behind on fire. I made a mistake instead of ordering the sesame chicken I got this one and it's 5 alarm hot. It's good but if you're a lightweight on spice-definitely avoid it.Some seating inside and looks very clean. Because of the Halal I asked if the cooks were from NYC and sure enough they are, thus this is legit good Chinese take out-Would I stop here on the way home??? Absolutely, it was that good.

Didn't expect to find halal in the city let alone halal chinese. Glad I did to say the least! Hubby and I stumbled upon this gem passing through Jacksonville and left happy with a full and satisfied tummy.They have a good list of choices for their Mon-Sat lunch specials.Great take out spot but you can dine in as well- if you choose. Inside seating accommodates maximum 10 people. Give or take. Service was wonderful and food was 10/10 Fresh. Delicious. Hot.

This place has been on my radar to try for a while due to the great reviews and good health inspection report. This place is absolutely worth the hype! It's located in a bit of an odd location, but definitely a gem once you're inside. It's small but nicely decorated. The girl at the front counter was very friendly too. For the food, I was so impressed! Finding good Chinese food can be tough, but this place will take a spot on my favorites list. I got the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable lo mein (pictured). Both of them had a great flavor and were full of vegetables. As a vegetarian, I was happy with the amount of options this place offers! Not to mention, their prices are great for the portion sizes. Overall, I will absolutely be making this place a staple for when I'm craving Chinese food.

Solid food every time. Can't really go wrong here. All the staples are excellent. Fried rice, noodles ect...

Good Chinese food. Clean restaurant with a very small dining area. Helpful and friendly staff. This spot was on my radar for some time now, I drive by every day and stopped in today to give it a try. I should note - there is no pork on the menu. I ordered Wings and Chicken lo mein & Sweet and Sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and after a little banter with the guy at the counter I also ordered their chicken wontons. Everything tasted fresh, I would go there again but I hoped for a little more Umami flavor. I'm curious to try more items on the menu. I would likely pass on the chicken wontons next time, they didn't do anything for me. The rice and lo mein were my favorites.

The location of the restaurant is a little put of the way and the parking is limited as it shares space with the other businesses in the small strip. When you walk inside its a whole different vibe from the surrounding area. The decor is trendy and the space is small but clean. The workers were nice and took our orders fast. They have menus taped to the counter as well as paper ones with many options to choose from. Be aware that they don't have fountain drinks only canned ones. We got the orange chicken which didn't really taste that much of orange but was still good. The vegetables soaked up a lot of the orange flavor and were delicious. We also got the wings in two flavor, honey and hot. Both wing sauces were kind of one note in flavor and could have used some more seasonings. The size of the wings and the crispyness of the of the skin more than made up for it. We also got the beef lo mein which was flavorful with tender and juicy meat. We got the small size but the ratio of noodle to meat was good. Overall I had a great experience and I would definitely come back!

Not only was the customer service great and on point the food came quick it will serve hot and plenty. I would definitely recommend and being that it's Halal. You don't find too many of those places around town so this was a delight to walk in and see that it was clean Inviting and the food was actually good!
