Thrilled to see GUANABANA open a gorgeously painted brick-and-mortar location! Their incredible treats and consistently bubbly customer service have been a staple in Jax year after year. These cold creations have definitely helped me survive some of the hottest days in town.No one deserves this success more than they do, and I couldn't be prouder. Wishing them all the best as they continue to grow!Gate Parkway is the perfect spot for this sweet addition--plus, it's dangerously close to my gym (and other great spots like V Pizza and Foxtail Coffee). Safe to say I'll be making plenty of post-TitanUp Fitness stops. Hoping they have a points system so I can start racking them up!I stuck with my go-to from their food truck at RAM (which they'll still be running): The Cholado--a drool-worthy mix of two house-made sorbets, fresh sliced fruit, and a hefty drizzle of sweetened condensed milk. Absolute perfection.Their hours are 10 AM to 10 PM, so be sure to swing by and show this local biz some love this Valentine's season! @hey9oh4 approved with flying colors!

Got an Acai bowl at Riverside Arts Market last weekend. I love these, I'm a big connoisseur of the acai bowl ever since I first had one in California many years ago. When you get a good one, it's a pretty amazing treat, especially on a hot summer day. I've had a smoothie from the Guanabana truck before, and it was very tasty. Unfortunately, I wasn't too pleased with this bowl. As you can see in the picture, it's mostly granola and very little smoothie. For a price tag of nearly $12, this was not worth it. It was a disappointment. If I go back to this truck, I'll be sticking to smoothies or maybe try a popsicle next time.

As part of a food truck event I spotted Guanabana and I thought that they may have some relatively healthy options. Smoothies and açaí bowls were on the menu next to their ice pops, ice cream, milkshakes, and lemonade.I ordered a pineapple coconut shake for $6. They mentioned that aside from their guanabana (soursop) smoothie and the banana, peanut butter, and chocolate smoothie, which are made with milk, the remainder of the ones on the list consist of just fruit. The first two sips were cold and refreshing, with an overwhelmingly pineapple taste. Although I could taste coconut flakes, the coconut flavor got lost in the mix. After a few sips, it just tasted icy. Given the lack of sweetness and the watered down taste, I don't think that the value was there. Perhaps adding another fruit such as strawberries or mangos would've helped the flavor. For a smoothie, I'll stick to a few places that I know make them fresh and well with higher quality at lower prices. Perhaps I'll try this truck again for an ice pop or for their award winning dessert.

Tried Guanabana on a whim while at a summer festival and let me tell you it was WORTH IT. These are delicious and you can tell they're made with actual fresh fruit. Definitely recommend

Finally finished all my popsicles from the Food Truck Rally after Hurricane Matthew! I've gone to Guanabana before when they had a cooler tricycle and now they have an actual food truck and are offering more than just pops such as smoothies, macaron ice cream sandwiches, and fruit salads. I was overwhelmed. I just came for pops and decided I'll try the other stuff another time. I got 4 kinds: Raspberry Lemonade, Hawaii, Mango Raspberry, Passionfruit. Not a bad pop in the bunch. These were really good and I will be back for more.

We went to the food truck event today (9/16/17) and tried the soursop smoothie and strawberry fruit popsicle. O-M-G . That soursop tastes just like the fruit (probably because they use real fruits.) Soursop is one of my favorite fruits and it's super hard to find in Jax. I've been waiting to go to Vietnam just so I can eat a bunch of these, but now I can just have them in a smoothie. Definitely hit the spot! My hubby had the strawberry popsicle, he said it wasn't sweet enough and was harder than he would have liked. Also too expensive for ONE popsicle.

Favorite Popsicles in town! All the flavors are soo fresh and delicious! My favorite is the passion fruit. It takes exactly like the passion fruit juice that my Hispanic mother in law makes. Soo delicious. The Columbian coffee is also amazing! And they'll chocolate dip any PPP for $1. Chocolate covered Columbian coffee popsicle - duh. That's a no brainer!!The owner has a cooler on a bicycle and is always at all the major events around town. It's a smaller operation, and not a huge truck like some others around, but the taste is definitely up to par, if not better, so look for them! You will be pleased.

Enjoyed one of these Atari festival. Got the Guanabana and really enjoyed it. Very fresh tasting. $3.50 for a fresh and creative popsicle at a festival isn't too bad. Refreshing. Will definitely get another one whenever I see the truck again!

Love, love, love these popcicles. Out of all the mobile-popcicle businesses we have in Jax, Guanabana is by far my favorite. Mostly because they have peanut butter flavor which is a dream com true. The people are really nice and appreciative of feedback -- so tell them what was good and what wasn't (but they're all good!). I recently read that they sell these in Fernandina now at the little cuban cafe. These popcicles are perfectly sweet, but not too sweet and the texture is outstanding! Soft enough to bite into without breaking a tooth. Whether I'm at Art Walk RAM, whenever I see Guanabana, I stop in my tracks and buy one!
