My daughter had the Country Breakfast (what I had our first time in). I had Short Stack, Banana and Pecans Combo with a side of sausage links. The pancakes are delicious and fluffy. The sweet tea wasn't good today. It tasted watered down, so we switched to sprite. That tasted off as well, so we ended up with water but I still paid for the teas although we didn't drink the tea or the soda. Overall, we had a great second experience.

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean restaurant. Biscuits and gravy were pretty horrible. Gravy was mainly just a salty flavor and a bit too thick. Biscuits were better but were overshadowed by the gravy. Three pieces of rag tag tough to chew bacon for 4.99 was kind of wild. Gnats really tried to ruin my breakfast. I won't be back but I'm glad I tried it out.

Grinders is one of my favorite diners in Jax. Always quick service and delicious food. If your in for breakfast make sure to upgrade to the babycakes. Yumm! Just an FYI if you check in using Yelp it says you get a free coffee but they do not honor it.

We finally tried Grinders recently, which I am very glad. It's how you'd picture a local diner would be like. We went for breakfast. I ordered ribeye with scramble eggs with side of grits and hubby tried their corn beef and hash. Both were pretty good. I like the atmosphere, the no non-sense, speedy and friendly service. I think this is going to be one of our routine breakfast joints going forward.

Came here with our group for breakfast. The atmosphere is your classic diner with the waitresses joking and keeping your coffee cup full.I got the cornedbeef hash with eggs and homefries. I like my eggs over and medium; I tend to judge the [breakfast] places on how the eggs show up. I don't like to see any of the uncooked white part of the eggs. This place cooks them perfectly. If you get there late in the morning it gets pretty packed and loud from I've noticed.

Grinders is a down home good breakfast. Nothing flashy and all delicious. Large portion, friendly staff, we always enjoy our visits. My mom is a pilot at Craig and it's her favorite place to grab breakfast for breakfast or breakfast for lunch. Great old school local place!

I was getting my car serviced at Nissan less than a mile away. My friend picked me up, and we stopped in for breakfast. I found Grinder's American Diner on Yelp with four stars. I'm giving five stars. My sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious. The gravy consistency was perfect, not too thin or thick. And was packed with flavor. The biscuits were light and fluffy yet huge.My scrambled eggs with cheese were cooked perfectly! My friend enjoyed her breakfast too. She did say she had tried better fried green tomatoes. Our server was friendly and checked in regularly. It was an old school diner feel with a family vibe. I could tell several patrons were regulars. Always a good indication!There was also outdoor seating available. If you are looking for a good no nonsense breakfast, stop in and give them a try.

I have been ordering breakfast from Grinders for years. However, today I was hungry for something different and Grinders always meets my craving expectations. Except this time, I ordered the "Create your own Burger" Guys, I did the the 8 ounce and let me tell you....this is the best burger I have had in a very long time!!! Better than any fast food and will compete with the higher end restaurants for sure!!! This burger was so good, I may have to order this for dinner again tonight. It came by way of Uber eats so I can only imagine what it would taste like hot off the grill with some fries!! Thanks Grinders for hiding this magical burger from the world!!!!
