Bar connect called The Barrel Room . Amazing drinks! Good selection of bourbon and friendly bartenders. Great atmosphere kinda of speak easy feeling!

I've been trying to stop in here since this place opened. Saw a ladies event and I thought this was the perfect time. A couple of friends bought tickets for the special event, and off we went. It was a ladies' event, and as we walked into the speakeasy, I was really impressed with how they had set it up. If you're a whiskey person like us, you would have loved the bar with all the whiskies in the background. The decor and the vibe were great. Everyone was so nice, and they had our tasting setups ready for us. There were four glasses with the names of our whiskey samples and tastings set before us. I figured when we came. It would be like whiskeys, I didn't know or off brands, but these were not. These are some of my favorites. They served us water throughout the event and even had lots of really good food. This place was fun, the people were fun, and my friends are always fun. Can't wait to go back!

Debbie gave me a heads up for an event at the Barrel Room, the Golden Ox's bourbon bar! Ladies night and bourbon tasting and education. Easy to find- the corner of the shopping plaza & plenty of parking. The bar was filled with women! The line up was Buffalo Trace, Travellers, 1792 & Blantons and there was a spread of nibbles for us to enjoy. Very knowledgeable staff and I loved that some of the bartenders were on our side of the bar, tasting and learning more about bourbon. The beautiful bar is packed with plenty to sip- I indulged in a chocolate covered cherry old fashioned after the tasting! And convenient, the liquor store is right there! So much fun- I would definitely make the drive for another event! Debbie suggest sampling old fashioneds made with different bourbons.... hmmm, yum!

The Barrell Room is fantastic. The quality of pours and cocktails are amazing. It's a great way to try a bourbon/tequilla/vodka before you buy the whole bottle. They do full flights JD, Pappy, Penelope, Sagamore, etc. definitely great when the Liquor store is attached to the tasting room.

SIMPLY THE BEST IN EVERY WAY! Amazing cocktail menu, elevated high quality spirits, relaxed, classy, adult atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and an OUTSTANDING staff! To find such a hidden gem in a shopping Center off Normandy Blvd was truly a surprise!

Love this place. They are polite and try to accommodate your tastes. They always remember your face... good selection of tequila and willing to locate what you want... visit them, you will be pleased
