Giuseppe's NY Pizza & Pasta Express

This quaint tucked away gem was such a lovely finish to our evening! All the cozy family owned vibes here and Absolutely worth the stop! Just a quick jump off the highway and you're there. We ordered the garlic knots, pizza Extravaganza, chocolate cake and cheesecake which came highly recommended and for good reason! The garlic knots were sooooo yummy! Garlic, buttery goodness with a delectable marinara sauce on the side. We gobbled them up immediately! The pizza extravaganza was bursting with flavor! 11 toppings and you could really taste all of the savory and deliciousness of each topping! More than anything I want to comment on the outstanding service! We were tended to as though we were invited to dinner at someone's home. Such a delightful experience. I wish we lived closer so we could add this into our regular rotation!

I've had this pizza about 4 times in the last year. This last time we picked it up. We liked it a lot. But, in the past the crust has been crispier and the toppings were more completely baked. It was still a good this time but the garlic was raw tasting and the crust wasn't as crispy as usual. Strangely, the green peppers seemed to have been precooked. Maybe I never noticed that before. Anyhow, the rating above is for this time's performance.Pizza by the slice is always perfect. They warm it up for you just like in NY, using the pizza oven. Piping hot and crispy. Usually they have pepperoni, cheese, and some combo slices. We like the Extravaganza combo.The web site is very old and clunky. It's clearly marked that delivery is available after 4pm. However, I wasn't able to place a delivery order despite reading a login complete with payment information. I think last time I ditched the website and called, because the nice delivery lady commented on our new address and delivered a perfect, hot pizza right on time. This time I pushed through the web ordering and it wanted an 18% tip which I changed to 0. Hubby could tip upon pick up if he was feeling it. It was during the football playoffs and the restaurant was packed and he said there were to go orders flying out of the place, so they were very busy.Standard times are 30 minutes for pickup and 60 minutes for delivery.I've also had the spanikopita a few times. Strangely, it comes with a mystery cheese baked on top. I like it better without that. It's pretty good! Hard to beat having it almost at my doorstep.

What a great find. Don't let the location fool you. This is top notch, New York quality Italian cuisine. The Calzone was packed full of meaty and cheesy goodness. I added the garlic knots, mostly to bring home to my bride to demonstrate the great authentic delicacy that these are. (And to convince the it's worth the 1 1/4 hour drive from Jacksonville just to eat here. Such flavorful garlic powered delights.) Coming back soon for dinner!!

I feel bad not rating this for a little while, but it is worth a pit stop for sure. One of the best pizzas I've had (chicken parm) in a long time. Give it a shot!

Everything I've ever ordered from this gem of an Italian+ restaurant has been excellent: tasty, well-prepared, generous portions. Their true New York style pizza is delicious . . .especially love the white! If you order the spanakopita, get extra cheese on top. Also, crazy as this seems, they have the BEST French fries I ever ate! Crispy on the outside with some type of coating, and tender and flavorful on the inside. Thank goodness we live close because I get the fries at least once a week (addicted! LOL).

Also good pizza. Close to our rv park. Went on Yelp recommendation. Wasn't disappointed.

Tried this place out for the first time.. had pizza and salad. It was amazing,hot,and fresh!Will definitely go back everyone there is so nice and polite! Great service!

Heard great things about their pizza. Very disappointing. One pizza was supposed to have extra sauce and cheese. Crust was burnt. Extra Sauce looked like maybe 2 teaspoons on top of cheese. Not enough extra cheese. Better NY pizza in Wyoming!I gave one extra star bc they had GF crust. Pricing VERY confusing on this. Ordered a Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella. What a rip off with all the extra charges. And it seemed dry. Sorry, we had great hopes as it is close to us, but will not go back.

What a great find. Stubbled on it because I was hungry for pizza and the place I went to was closed on Monday. Blessing in disguise! I've been back many times since then and have tried different items when I go there. Everything is fresh and delicious. You know they "key" to a successful restaurant??? Consistency! This place has nailed it! You want delicious authentic Italian food then you've come to the right place. Don't be fooled by it's size because there's a lot of talent behind the scenes. Don't forget to try their homemade desserts....OMG! Delicious! Cheesecake, Tiramisu, baklava, limoncello, dark chocolate cake...all homemade and fresh...so good. I can not say enough good things about this place....you will have to go and see for yourself. Enjoy!
