Ginger Bistro

This was my third time visiting Ginger Bistro, but my first visit on a weekend, and the food continues to impress! I had the Tonkotsu pork ramen, and my son had the Godzilla ramen. Pro tip: ask for the special house chili oil to dial in your perfect heat level--it's a game-changer!The ramen wasn't piping hot but was still absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients throughout. I do wish they served the Bento box lunch special on the weekends, but everything else more than made up for it.The restaurant was clean, the servers were attentive, and I absolutely love the music--it adds to the great atmosphere. The pork in the Tonkotsu ramen was so good that I need to figure out how they prepare it! I'll definitely be back for more.

The service was good, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The Spicy Beef Ramen was fantastic and I suggest you come it (it has a bite). The decor is simple but very nice.

I have my share of sushi fromMainly the west coast. Ginger offers a pretty decent selection of sashimi and specialty rolls. I really like the lunch offers for a nice budget friendly category. They did had toro...although not the greatest but decent. I I thought the cut was a bit thin to get any of that delicate fatty flavor out. The ramen was pretty decent and great portion and broth was pretty flavorful and smooth. The baos were nice. I would prefer something colorful or pickled to incorporate some tartness with the chashu and fried soft shell crab. Overall customer service was attentive and fish was clean and fresh.

Stopped in today, prices seemed fair. I took my order to go. It was nice inside very roomy and clean. Total for my order was $60: I got two orders of egg rolls ; 1 order is 2 egg rolls for approx $4.50. I did an order of pork gyoza fried,1 order of vegetable lo mein, 1 order of chicken fried rice and 2 orders of soy wrapped vegi rolls. ||Quality of food; lo mein was bland no flavor. What I did love was the amount of different vegetables that were added in.Chicken fried rice was very greasy and tasted like old oil and rice was hard. Gyoza were good.Egg rolls were good, but very greasy. So greasy you could squeeze it amd your fingers were drenched in oilSoy Wrapped Vegi rolls were good.I will try them one more time with some different items.However, for this to-go order, I was not impressed.I will give them 5 on Customer Service: the girl tha took my order was so kind and sweet.

Must try chill, quality food in the Saint Augustine area. Tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and enjoyed it with the soft boiled egg.Bathrooms were clean, service with a smile. I have yet to try their sushi for next time.Service is amazing, they're very accommodating and the food came out almost immediately. Five stars for me, must try if you're craving some Japanese food

The food was phenomenal. I mean really good! Service was spot on. I walk in. I sit down. I've got a menu within one minute very attentive person. Thank you so much ! And the ambience cute , quaint, very nice! Walked in at 5:30 went to the sushi bar love the fact that they had a TV with the Cooking Channel on ordered my three favorite types of Nigri Unagi, Maso, yellowtail or Hamachi.Great place please look for it the next time you're passing through St. Augustine!

This is one of our go to sushi places. Service is always consistently good and prompt. The dining room was redone last year and it is spacious. The menu is on a tablet but the server takes your order. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I always get a sweet potato roll and this last one I had was the best yet. They have lunch specials where you can get miso soup or salad and either 2 rolls or 3 rolls. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a locals favorite. Bugatti drivers to those working the trades can be found here. Expect warm friendly service at the table or the sushi bar. Diverse asian menu with focus on Sushi/Sashimi and Noodles. Always ask about specials and the fresh fish. I alternate between both. Having traveled in Japan for work, I have a working knowledge of the menu items. To me Ginger Bistro is equal or better in taste, quality, and service. If unsure what to order, ask. The staff and owners love to share ideas for you! Beach casual attire works here, though expect the dining room to be cool. Just right for hot humid days. Good for a light and breezy date night or an afternoon with kiddos learning to use chopsticks!

Great menu and friendly service. Awesome lunch specials too. Have a great Sake and beer selection. I had two rolls and miso soup with sake and an Asahi it was great. It is run by Chinese people not Japanese but the food tastes authentic.

Great lunch! Healthy, tasty and quick! Ginger B has been on my wishlist for quite some time and today was the day. My friend and I wanted a take out lunch and this was perfect. A little more of a splurge than usual but the price seemed fair for the work that goes into the meal. We each had Bento boxes and dove right in before I could take any pics. Portions are not large, more like a little taste of this and that but it all adds up to a nice size lunch. The tiny salad in the bento box and the small miso soup on the side were a nice surprise. Will try Ginger B again for sure and do another review. I did snap a pic of the cucumber side salad. Overall, everything was fresh and put together with care, love that!
