Staff was super nice and social! Felt very welcome and was explained the price and got to look at everything before committing! There wasn't many people on a Friday night so there were seats everywhere and wasn't too loud. Place was super clean and they gave you a little tub to put your trash in! I was looking for an all you can eat crab leg place and this did not disappoint! I personally liked the other food and loved the crab legs, but my husband thought everything was eh other than the crab legs and fried shrimp which he loved! Dessert was kind of a miss, but after filling up we weren't too worried about dessert. We will definitely be back next time we come to Jacksonville!

This place is not what it used to be. We haven't been here since they raised the prices from $40, but we thought we'd go here again since it used to be our go-to place and the quality was great (at the time). The food was disgustingly dry, and for $60/person, the selection was minimal. Yet, none of it was decent enough for us to want to keep eating. I couldn't even finish the salmon or the prime rib. The quality has declined so much that I'd almost rather eat at a Chinese buffet because it's cheaper. One of the bathrooms had bar soap in it. That's disgusting and it carries so many germs.I gave two stars because our server was nice. If there's anything kind to say, it's the service. He kept our drinks full and frequently checked on us.I hope this place improves in the future. I don't wish for this place to go out of business, but a lot of improvements are needed.

Buffets, you seen one you have definitely seen them all. GiGi is welcoming but not appealing. I got the Salomon that looked dried out. The bread bowl of soup looks so appealing, but the bread was so hard I almost broke my dentures. The short ribs looked so unappealing under the heat lamp. The price of $19.95 is a draw to the best food inMandarin, but this is not so good. The staff were very warm and fuzzy but the food left me wanting less! I'm so glad I did not book this venue for our annual Christmas dinner. Gigi... you win some and you lose some. This is a loss:(

My mother in law found her new favorite all you can eat crab leg joint. She invited the wife and I to try this place out. Interestingly the restaurant/buffet is located in a Motel past the comedy club inside. Can't make this stuff up. You have to legit pass everyone waiting in line and the bar if there's a show. Pretty sure there's always a show on the weekend around dinner time. Parking is shared with motel, comedy and buffet guest. The buffet is $40 without crab legs. $60 with crab legs. $20 for kids although I'm not sure if that includes, or excludes the crab legs. Weekends only. My wife and I didn't do the buffet with crab legs. She did try one and said it was bland. The options were somewhat limited. I tried the prime rib (decent), boiled crawfish(bland), fried oysters(bland), crab cake bites(good), fried shrimp(nope), peel and eat shrimp(decent), boiled mussels(nope), wings(the ones tossed in sauce tasted like it was boiled), sautéed veggies(good). There were other items such as a salad bar and desserts that have probably sat out all day. Pretty sure crab legs is the main staple. My wife and I was not a fan and probably won't be returning. They didn't have clams or raw oysters during our visit which was a little disappointing. What was not disappointing was service. Absolutely top notch. Our drinks never got halfway empty, and the bucket for empty shells never got to half full.

I went here for Thanksgiving with my family. Working in hotels, I had an idea of what to expect. However, what I received kinda exceeded it.When it came to food, there was something here for just about anyone. I'm mostly vegetarian and was able to walk away full. They had all the Thanksgiving fixings of collards, turkey, ham, roast beef, mac and cheese, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and mashed potatoes and gravy along with a dessert and salad bar. While the food itself was hit and miss (the Mac and cheese and green bean cass were "meh" and the stuffing had a weird lemon taste that clashed hard.) their service was spot-on given that we were a large family. Overall, I walked away full with little complaint.

Went here with my family tonight as it's getting harder to host as my family has gotten older. This year we decided to enjoy a dinner out and enjoy dessert at home. I anticipated a standard hotel buffet but was surprised to see there were several selections available. While I found some meals a bit meh like the green bean cass and the collards the turkey, mash potatoes and gravy were stellar. Our service was spot on as we were a group of 20+ but she was on it cleaning up plates and getting us refills. I left very full and happy. Happy Thanksgiving!

Tonight we had reservations for Gigi's for my son's birthday. All he wanted was crabs and we've been to Gigi's so many times before so that was the first place I thought of when he said what he wanted.I made reservations for 6:30. As we walked into Gigi's I saw a sign that said add a pound and half of crab legs for $25.95 to the buffet price of $29.95:So we asked the woman is this not a crab leg buffet any more? And she told us they stopped that in May. Now for $55.90 all you get she said is about a cluster and half plus the regular food at the buffet. They also don't have the prime rib like they used to. After checking out the new menu we decided it wasn't worth it. We ended up leaving. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking about going for the all you can eat crabs.

Oh my gosh I wish I could have gotten a full refund. I told the waiter the food was horrible and he said most people like it. WTH? We were offered $39.95 for their buffet or $69.95 for their crab legs (which were just clusters) My first thought after eyeing over the buffet was to leave but since we were there to see a show we stayed and only got the $39.95 option. There was not one thing edible. Well, maybe the salad which the lettuce was wilted. The deviled crab tasted like bread crumbs and spices in a crab shell. The shrimp had absolutely no taste. The soup (shrimp & rice) had only rice I think there were tiny pieces of shrimp but couldn't tell. This place had the worst food I have ever eaten. A one star is being generous. We should have donated the $100 to a worthy cause then to pay for that awful dinner. Save your time and money! At least the show was good.

Most disappointing meal my husband and I had in a long time. Paid almost $40 per person. It was our anniversary and we had mediocre food. Cafeteria style! Their advertised menu had many items not available (chicken cordon bleu, raw oysters, rice pilaf, Deviled Crab or Scallop St. Jacques', green beans, clam chowder). The NY strip was so well done, it was rubbery. The soup they did have was ice cold. The crawfish were overcooked and disintegrated when we tried to pull them out of the shells. There was a dog in the restaurant that was not a service dog. We don't mind service dogs at all but this one was definitely not. We would've given 0 stars but the service was actually good. They were friendly.

We have been dining here for over 20 years. Always WAS excellent.Last visit was 04-16-2022Never again! No Crab legs, unless you paid an additional $24.99 for 1.5 pounds plus the $32.99 for the "Seafood Buffet".What a joke!No longer has the desert area, has to be "Asked for now, only had, cheese cake regular, chocolate cheese cake and carrot cake. The food was nowhere near the same quality. We will never go back. The New Owner, Fred from what we were told, have No idea what it used to be and appears they don't care!We heard nothing but complaints from the 15 or 20 people that were there! We Do Not recommend this place. We could have gone to Seafood Express, gotten Way much better food and at 1/3 the Price.$165 waste of $$ for 4 people.Highway Junk-Joint!
