I mean it's a Park but people pull up in the parking lot and feel need to blast their music, there's a large homeless community doing their laundry at a Spicket. Overall, the park is just kind of covered in trash. I have not been able to find a halfway decent park since moving to the Jacksonville area. I do have to say there's a lot of shade here which is nice other than that it's not great there's two small play structures, but would be a pretty good spot for riding scooters.

Park is nicely shaded and has an oversized pavilion with 5 large picnic tables. There is a paved walking trail with lots of benches throughout. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is there is only one swing and no bathrooms. Nice little park

It's off of a busy street, so perfect if you just need to let your kids run amok before continuing on your way, or if you need to walk your dogs. Small parking lot, with a gas station across the street. I saw a cop car, which could be a good sign - protecting kids and keeping parks clean - or a bad...am I in a dangerous area? One lady was painting her truck in the parking lot, which seemed a bit odd to me. The truck was in really bad condition, maybe a green/teal color, and she was painting certain spots with white paint, as in trying to conceal the ever so obvious damage. I don't really want to see that at the park I visit.

A little bit sketchy, but there's a lot of open space and a couple play structures for the little one. We saw one family teaching their son to ride his bike with no training wheels. The long long sidewalks surrounding and weaving through the grounds are great for that. There are some covered picnic tables but the rubber finish is coming off. There are plenty of benches in the shade of the amazing trees. Although it's right next to Beach Blvd, I could see spending some quiet time reading praying and reflecting on a bench while the kids play. Our son found a pile of clothes and some underwear on one of the play structures, so there's that. My wife said to make this a 4 star review instead of three.

This park was littered with homeless sleeping under the pavilions and on the benches. Equipment was worn and the mulch needs redone.

I wouldn't bring my kids here. Homeless people and trash everywhere. I came to walk the trail and I was too busy checking over my shoulder or looking to avoid stepping on something awful to be able to enjoy the nice shady park. If you come here, keep your head on a swivel. I will note that one of the homeless guys I talked to as I passed by him seemed friendly.

This is a great little neighborhood park. Its somewhat sparsley visited so its like having my own backyard paradise. Tons of huge trees to sit under to get out of the beaming sun. I take my little dog here and he loves exploring the place, of course on a leash.

I'm surprised no one reviewed this cute little park yet. It gets mega hot in Florida, so if you're itching for the outdoors but want some refuge from the summer heat, this is a great park to visit. Across the street is a convenience store, so you can get some quick eats and drinks for the kids and bring them over to enjoy in the park. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the weather and watch the squirrels scurry about and birds in the trees. In the middle of the park is a covered area where parents can wait while the kids play on the equipment. There are slides and swings where kids can play. My son and I enjoyed our stroll around the park today. When I've come during weekday mornings, there have usually only been about 4 families or so.

Beautiful park full of Oak trees that provide plenty of shade. There is a parking lot and racetrack across the street. Nice size playground for the kids & picnic tables under a shelter for shade. One of Jacksonville's historic parks, with a nice jogging trail too.
