Fire Wok Chinese

Always hot, always delicious with easy parking. This spot is best for pickup as the dining area is small and it can get loud. This area does not have a lot of solid, takeout restaurants. However, Fire Wok is the exception. In order, come pick it up, and then fight to share portions with the family.. I've never eaten in the dining room, although it's always spotless and clean. I would much rather prefer to take it back to our beach rental and eat it there, while listening to the ocean. But you do you boo, because the food is really

After a very disappointing wait and experience at Harry's in St Augustine where we left without eating- we found this gem open near our hotel. So glad we did! 10:00 pm and the employees were friendly and the food was amazing! Thank you for saving the night! We went to bed with happy bellies!

Ok, before anyone gets all high and mighty, set your expectations. This is NOT a fine dining establishment. This is a Chinese takeout place beside a grocery store. This is not somewhere you go for a romantic dinner or a classy celebration, this is where you go to get decent food for a reasonable price. And they deliver on that! Our party had multiple options - Honey chicken, General Tso, wings, wontons, and some other normal Chinese dishes. They were all okay! They were good for what they were. Period. Try not to look into this review too deep. If you want solid Chinese takeout, then this place will do you right! If you are going to be overly critical about your cuisine, then keep on looking! Then lady who runs the place is very nice and efficient! To those about to dine, I salute you!

We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area since our last two favorites closed. The food here is delicious -- in particular the hot and sour soup and the General Tso's chicken. The experience of dining in was suboptimal. We arrived an hour before close and when we had finished and needed some things to go, the staff didn't handle that well. We'll try again to see if that was just a bad night, since they make good food.

Pleasantly surprised with this local restaurant.Great prices, huge portions, delicious entrees and soups.We have been craving Chinese style food for quite awhile but hesitated ... not sure of what might await us with a local eatery here or in st Augustine. There have been quite a few "regrets ".Deciding to go for it .... We were happy with our choices and enjoyed our local take out !!!Give it a try . If you are visiting from out of town, and want some Chinese food close to Vilano Beach, this is your option. It's just okay. I ordered honey chicken, but what I got was sweet and sour thickly breaded chicken with a honey glaze I guess? Still not really sure. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their meal, but also said it wasn't the best they have had. The little place next door looked more promising. All in all it was okay, and if on Vilano beach okay enough to eat, but I would suggest to try another if time permits. Okay for now... Good Selling.

I ordered online and picked up in store. The pork egg roll was fresh but I tasted a seafood edge, so maybe they fry the shrimp and pork egg rolls in same oil. The wonton soup was flavorful and had 3 wontons in small serving. The beef with broccoli was yummy & a good sized portion. I also ordered the brown rice which was good. It took longer than expected to wait but the food was made to order and they had a mini rush at some time I was there. Cashier and cook were kind and thanked me for coming.You can sit inside or take to go. They also had a couple delivery orders go out via grub hub I believe.It's a great value and I'll be back to try more items!

Ordered dinner for pickup; due to the pandemic, orders have to be called in and picked up at the window, which I totally understand. The person who took the order over the phone seemed pleasant. Not the most hospitable service at pickup, but there was no rudeness. We ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll; mixed veggies with white rice; spring rolls; cheese wontons. The food was hot and fresh, and very good; the portions were sizeable.

We ordered our dinner from here a few nights ago, let me just say we have been looking for a half way decent Chinese restaurant for several years and now this one is NOW IT! We had it delivered and the food came hot and very yummy, the delivery guy was very pleasant and personable. Only thing that it was lacking was the egg roll for my husband's meal. I am not going to knock a star off because the food was actually fresh and very good! We will definitely be ordering here again!

The most awful Chinese food experience ever. The delivery came without utensils, sauces or even napkins. Called back to rude entitled daughter and she blamed on delivery driver. This is a common theme in their reviews. Who packaged food? Driver or restaurant... certainly restaurant but they blame service for their downfalls! How pathetic to not be able to take any ownership of your poor customer service. We talked about this with staff at our hotel across street and they said they don't care because they are busy. They further added that they don't eat there because food tastes "off". We agree with them. We went in this afternoon to talk to owners and Mom was exactly rude and obnoxious just like daughter. Stat far far away from them. They don't care about the customer in the very least. Awful awful experience
